    Man after looking through some of the comments here, i have to wonder why you even take the time to post videos knowing that abuse is sure to follow. I got to say though that Tai Chi as it really is might have died out if it wasn't for people like you. This has inspired me to start to share some of my knowledge that i would not have shared otherwise. Thank You

      Because simps like you obviously think what he's doing is real.. MMA and BJJ students train in reality not in the clown world of chi throwing someone across the room with a single touch.
      You'd realize in about 10 seconds that what this guy is doing is absolute 1st class fuckery if you tried doing any of this against an actual martial artist and not some vegan soy boy who worships this guy because of "Peng" or whatever the fuck nonsense he's talking about.

    But why does the other person go so far after being pushed?

    • @blockmasterscott
      @blockmasterscott 11 місяців тому +1

      Good question, and I have an answer! I've been on the receiving end of those techniques, and it looks like he's being pushed, but he is not. What's happening is that his body posture is interrupted, and he is trying to get a sense of balance. That's why he's staggering. Not hurt or pushed, it's like pushing someone with crooked legs, it's easy to break their posture.
      It looks mystical, but it's actually very scientific. In layman's terms what Mizner is doing is that he's been practicing long enough and understands body mechanics enough to get a feel of the other person's posture, and is able to break it, making the other guy stumble.
      I hope that helped!

    I gotta say I got really mixed feelings about your work. On the one hand you bring really nice ideas of application and other ways of interpreting the principals of Taiji. On the other hand you either have your student fake all those reactions or, if it’s real, endanger their integrity and health by throwing them around the room and in the floor with what it seems poor knowledge of safe falling on their side. And I don’t know what’s worse
