The thing is, I don't mind fans of the road team showing up to games, it's just when they end up being overly loud and obnoxious that I have a problem. Especially in a city like Buffalo, it just feels mean-spirited like they're kicking them when they're already down.
The only thing we can do as fans is to stop feeding the monster. Stop buying season ticket, stop going to the games. That is the only thing the Pegulas cares about.
I recently went across to Niagara NY and saw a ton of Buffalo sabres jerseys on people. The weird thing though is it was all Eichel and Kane with the odd Hasek. That kinda made me realize you guys haven’t had a star in a while.
I thought this Toronto game didn't suck quite as bad as most of the other recent games, despite the loss...Sabres had some chances at least. And it looked like Reimer came about 4 inches from getting Malarchuked on that Pacioretty goal. Very lucky.
Buddy you shouldn't be surprised that leafs fans out cheer you in your own barn. You know what we call Sabres fans up here? they are leafs fans who can't get tickets to leafs games.
If Pegula sells the team its gone. If pegula keeps the team hes gonna want another stadium. As much i like hockey and football funding stadium with tax dollars BLOWS. Ruff to GM Peca to HC
It actually makes sense that a lot of Leafs fans go to Buffalo home games, Toronto really isn't that far away and Buffalo probably has significantly cheaper tickets. I'm a Utah Jazz fan and the same thing happens whenever we play the Lakers or the Nuggets at home, the majority of the arena is made up of fans of the other team. It's really annoying and obnoxious, but whatever. It just makes the rare occasion that we win all the sweeter. 😂
True, you would know more than me with what the problem is but it looks to me like ownership is constantly hiring inexperienced people from within the organization instead of experience from outside
Tale of two franchises- neither have achieved much, but MLSE has offered Leafs fans at least a consistent chance (however small it may be). Pegula has offered Sabres fans nothing, offers the players nothing, gives the coaches nothing and has the GM on a leash and somehow expects the team to magically turn around.
The one thing the Leafs have had is many great seasons. I know the playoffs are different but I'd rather my team win a good majority of the regular season and lose in the playoffs then lose in the regular and not make the playoffs, especially for how many seasons?
@@tristanjorritsma9709the Leafs had over 10 years of misery from 2005-2016…only turned it around when we drafted Matthews by pure luck. Even with that we haven’t sniffed past round 2.

Another 3 years , they will be excellent . Management I believe should have got a mix of veteran players at least 50% and left some of the youth grow in the AHL. Just my opinion. Good day!

Business as usual, learn to be okay with calls going against your team as they will go for your team at times and yes there is no reason to it, just trying to fill seats and sell the image of the game.
