King Mackerels for Christmas

Here is Captain Graham on F/V Prowler of Hatteras, NC packing out his Christmas Eve catch of King Mackerels.
King Mackerel is a top species in Hatteras during the fall and winter. We often have dozens of commercial boats coming from neighboring ports to fish for king mackerel.
Prowler is a hook-and-line boat but we also have several boats target King Mackerel with nets. This fishery is managed by NOAA Fisheries and requires a limited-entry federal permit to participate.
