The Thing that separates players like Thom Bresh, Tommy Emmanuel, and Jerry Reed from other players is the genuine enjoyment they display when playing. It's what makes them amazing and a hell of a lot of fun to hear and watch. Just Great!
This clip is one of the first videos I ever saw back in the mid-00s that really got me into fingerstyle music. Haven't searched it out in a while until today, and I'm immensely saddened to hear of Thom's passing. I absolutely HATE cancer in all of its forms. Godspeed, Mr. Bresh. Thanks for all of the amazing tunes over the years.
somewhere at my parents house is a pic of thom bresh, lane brody, my mom and myself. saw them in consert once and was blown away by tom's talent, but never have found anything of his work until now. if you get a chance to catch him live, do not miss it. his show was a mix of humor and mind blowing guitar picking.
The guitar is a Stonebridge 23CRG-C. List price is $2274.00. You could probably get it for about $1900 on the street. I got one. Killer gtrs & they should cost WAY more!
I don't get what he does at 1:30 but this just sounds awesome in the middle of the tune !! Gonna buy a Furch (stonebridge) really soon, those guitar are the best. Could try the OM 23 CR ... seriously it was the bomb !! The neck is incredibly confortable, the sound is just perfect. When you play hamonics it's just really loud and clear ... Too bad that this brand is not more famous.
RIP Breshman! This video inspired me more than you could know. I never got to meet you but your contribution will never be forgotten

They are very nice. Just got one into our store last week, and everyone who touches it loves it!

It is not the guitar that's making him sound like that. It's talent.

Very good playing, nice old man Thom.

What a comedian
How much are those guitars?
That guit box barks mister
"here's a Nokie Edwards lick"
(Ventures ...)
freaks me out..
thom had to love that guitar like the best girl he ever knew
Thom could sound good with a busted mandolin with only two out of tune strings. He is amazing.
Big Ron
"The Claw"
those? around 3000 depends on where you buy it. they're professional guitars that professional guitarists use
way the fuck too good.
if you buy a stonebridge guitar , you get the talent for free ....not
Wow, He plays as mean and ugly as he looks, ha, just kidding. Great playing
