Swimming in a triathlon is not the same as swimming in a pool. In open water there’s a lot to take into account; swells, currents, other swimmers! There’s a lot that goes on in a triathlon swim that you won’t experience training in a pool so Heather is here to show you what the best swim technique is for swimming in open water and explains what to think about to prepare you for the triathlon swim leg! 🏊

Keep calm and trust in your training the months/weeks before. The swim isn't over after 400m. And the whole race not at all.

Thank you - just in time. I just arrived from a pool swim with my new wetsuit. Have to find the technique and feeling in the wetsuit. My first competition is The Championship in Samorin and then the ice just disappeared from our lakes in north of Sweden. I’m so happy I got one swim coach this year, so my swimming really been better.
