- We've done SO MANY Best Teams for Pokémon Legends Arceus at this point...so how about the WORS TEAM!? This was a real tricky one as finding balance with Pokémon that are not really good but can still put up a fight was really challenging but I think I managed to do it right!

Bastiodon is legit amazing in PLA. One thing that he seems to keep leaving out of these videos is that stats just work differently in PLA. Give this boy iron defense and actually use the grit items on him, and he’ll solo Volo for you 4X weaknesses or no.
I can see that
That is unless one of his pokemon outspeeds you and hits bastiodon with a quad effective move. Twice in row. With the second being strong style. Which is very likely to happen
Literally a Walmart aegislash at this point
I mean he also said goodra is better than garchomp which Stat wise is just wrong
@@Codamans Typing wise Hisuian Goodra probably is better than Garchomp.
What I'd be more interested in seeing is a how-to for building a team, so we can build a team with the Pokemon we want, but still have it be good.
In arceus with so few trainer battles, having a well rounded team is really only necessary at the very end. It is definitely something I would like to see though. Especially if they add pvp in a dlc.
Also he wouldn’t have a job
Literaly the only time you need a balanced team is the very last one against Volo, although you can still beat him with any pokémon team you want provided you use a lot of Grits and go a bit overleveled. It's the hardest battle ever in a pokémon game though, no way around that.
For the rest of the game, you can already have a team with any pokémon you want, and be good with it. In fact, that's the best aspect of PLA imo. This is mostly thanks to the Grit system, and the moves were very well distributed for the most part, so that the slower pokémon can still take two turns in a row thanks to moves that have a built-in Agile Style and do well in the new batte system, and pokémon that typicaly get outclassed by others of the same type got more utility moves to compensate.
Go to an online team builder tool and start filling it out with your favourites. These tools will usually have type adv/disadv tables, so you can then see what you need coverage for. Just choose types that resist/super effective to the types you need coverage for.
By no means is this gonna carry you in competitive, but I'm assuming this is for in-game teams, and this is usually more than good enough to get you a well-balanced team.
I think what hurts these mons the most is not having access to their abilities
You're right. But damn does it feel good to 1HKO those Gravelers without their Sturdy ability.
Bastiodon, one of those Pokémon I love and have great memories of, because I used him in Pearl many years ago, but yes, it's really bad.
"I give you... Blblblbl!!! Wooooooo!!!!!" Lmao I wasn't ready
Mystic, I think a video on which combination of champion and E4 members would be the best/most difficult would make a great video!
MysticUmbreon: Today, we're gonna talk about the Worst Poke...
Wormadam: *You Know The Rules, And Soo Doo I! Say Gooddbyyye!*
Never Gonna Give You Up
Does this comment count as a rickroll? If so, that was well placed.
I actually used a Golem, Mr. Mime, and Overquil in my run and thought my team was awesome! 😂
As soon as I heard you start getting annoyed, I knew Wormadam was going to be on this list.
I spat my drink when you did the krikitune cry. Nice
I ran overqwil in my play through and I ran it’s signature move, aqua tail, dark pulse, and spikes only bc it’s lingering damage is helpful mainly with how the battle system works
i used an overqwil too and its not really that bad of a Pokémon to use in this game, its move pool does leave a lot to be desired however
i mean i had to run a move set of barb barrage, aqua tail, spikes and pin missile as its move pool is dire
@@bulborb8756 True that
@@Fowa2003 if overqwil can be gotten in gen 9, for sure its move pool will be significantly improved with toxic spikes, throat chop, payback, liquidation, waterfall, aqua jet and toxic
@@bulborb8756 Hell ya I’m excited to see it
Delewoop? Delewoop is full of fun battle cry moments.
6:51 i need that as a ringtone for my phone 😂😂😂
6:45 I almost choked on my lunch lmao this needs to be a ringtone 🤣🤣🤣🤣
i can already see the Nuzlockers lining up for this video…
I think I enjoy this video out of all the other ones. Great job.
Deffo prefer skuntank over overqwil but I just wish it was a special or mixed attacker (took me ages to find a good natured one) plus overqwil takes ages to evolve and is available later then skunky plus when you do get it the only real major battle that it can be used against with an advantage is electrode where as you can have a skuntank for liligrant
I'm super excited for this video
I feel like Overqwil had quite a bit of potential. What happened to moves like Foul Play and Feint Attack? Why did they have to get rid them? Just like Dusknoir. They got rid of Shadow Punch
Oh and also why did they give Overqwil physical defence? I get it has large poisonous spikes protruding from it but why? Why not a bit of extra speed like just boost it up to base 95 maybe give it a little more HP or even give it a bit more Special Attack instead so that it can better utilise the only dark type move it can learn
I guess the potential with overqwil is that it has one weakness - ground. But it has good water and ice coverage for that. My biggest disappointment is it has no physical dark move.
Overqwil is in my normal team. Drapion is nice but I felt like the bug move was rudindent where another water would be more useful. Also covers it biggest weakness, Ground.
Bro skuntank is an awesome poke in this game. Borderline broken even.
He doesn’t have the best stats, but his movepool and typing and the level that you can catch this guy has caused me to effectively say that he is a staple on my team during the swamp and ocean parts of the game
I was able to capture a shiny Overqwil and the move set I gave it are: Dark pulse, aqua tail, Barb Barrage and..... SPIKES! Spikes ( and stealth rock) in PLA is a physical ground attack move of 40 power, and with the additional damage it comes with at the end of each round, the overall damage is not bad actually. Also I wonder how the colateral damage was changed in PLA, because it seems definitely more than 1/8 when it's super effective.
Paths of Solitude just makes me want these Pokemon more than ever.
Annoying crying? It's the best cry
As an unknown fan, I willingly used the unknown D on my playthrough team.
Honestly those path of solitude quests had us use the worse stuff like Wormadam and Wurmple just to really piss us off.
Yeah not looking forward too it ugh
Lol. I caught a quilfish before basculegion too. I saw "something" swimming way out there and started trying feather balls. Was wondering why it was being so difficult. It was level 54. Oh wow. Nice.
On one hand, I want the game because I want to try something new, but on the other hand I don’t want to be disappointed because I could see that happening
Ok??
I had a shiny Skuntank on my team:
It's moves were as follows:
Poison Jab
Night Slash
Flamethrower
Play Rough.
Skuntank played a vital part in beating Volo's Giratina
Trying this for a new play through.
What I love about PLA is that even the most meh Pokémon can be absolutely busted here. With the new EL system you can just overbuffed the stat of any Pokémon and it can be your ace just as fine. Like me who used an Rotom fan to soloed Giratina :)) Since there is no PVP the system works fine without much problem.
Yes I love watchingng Worst Teams They are so great!!!
How come Overqwil is there and not Cherrim and Chatot?
I wouldn’t say that Overquil isn’t too bad, and I’ve personally used Skuntank and both were amazing
Since this is the worst team of PLA, I’m wondering, is there an option of the best team of PLA? Like not based on any of the starters but legitimately the best 6 Pokémon team of pla ?
Skuntank isn't too bad in this game actually, very solid movepool
I know chimeco isn't good, but boy is it cute. I caught an alpha and used that as an excuse to put it on my team
What about empoleon and torterra edition and iya, what about no restrictions?
I hope that in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet Overqwill finally learn a Physical Dark type attack.
Gamefreak: *don't count on it*
You can get qwilfish in first area without basculegion by baiting them
Great 👍 team mystic
the sad thing is my team contained 4 of the 6 he showed
Which ones did you use?
Can u plz make a best eeveelutions team for legends arceus
I don’t understand the point of team videos for a game that isn’t built around team building and encourages you to use more than 6 Pokémon during your playthrough
Not in the same game, but i beat Cynthia in Shining Pearl with a Kricketune and Perish song.
Is it weird that I used wormadam and it was solid on my first playthrough?
I find it ironic that the worst team has an easier time taking out Lian’s Goomy than all 3 of the best teams.
Almost forgot about this game with Elden Ring coming out lol
Arceus is great in its own right. Elden Ring though isn't worth comparing cause it breaks ground so much further.
Garchomp doesn't need Earthquake. It's tough enough as it's is.
I used a overqwil on my team and he was not bad so don't worry if you use this team
Enough with the finger pointing 😆
Lol why would you put dark pulse on overqwil when it's got a base 65 sp atk 😂
I gotta say, golem is definitely one of the better Pokémon in the game if you play into its strengths.
What do you mean kricketune has the most annoying cry, It's the best for a bop, Just waiting for the remix to drop 👍👍
Best team all new hisuian Pokémon no old Pokémon?
Wait wait WAIT, DID YOU JUST SAY KRICKETUNE HAS AN ANNOYING CRY ? Hell nawh...
Six Magikarp?
Can we get some good fossils and maybe non rock type ones?
Dracovish
Chimecho is da bomb !!!
ya bro i love chimecho
To all you Bastiodon defenders, what is stopping you from choosing Steelix
ima use it 😈
Imagine dont put lickilicky xD
I’m surprised that Overqwil is considered bad
yeah, and tbh its not that bad actually since I used one on my team
Didn't fight any of the shiny just threw the powder bags and dodged
Dude this game is so fucking easy, you can beat this game with any pokemon basically.
I don't get the Overqwill, she clutched most of the game for me
Stop bullying Bastiodon, you'll give him a complex poor thing. 😡😡
Bastiodon is literally one of the worst fossils. It's design is alright... Blame GameFreak dude
Wormadan
I have an idea for a video. In your personal opinion whose team is stronger Cynthia's or Volo's?
I mean volo has 2 different giritinas a mon (hisuian Arcanine) that could kill lucario easily
Did Cynthia ever have Togekiss? I see it has Milotic ...
@@turboshazed7370 She does in Platinum.
Oh my fucking god. Probably Cynthia... Her team would fuck me but legitimately Giratina gave me the only issues
@@turboshazed7370 I mean volo has 8 Pokemon vs cythinas 6 meaning while 5 of cythinas Pokemon will be ko there will be 3 on volos has she only has 2 counters to girtina garchomp which probably would've fainted when getting to girtina and togekiss who is destroyed my hisuian Arcanine
This was a good Worst team.
Burmy!!!!!!
Honestly I think overquail is a bit too good for this team put electrode instead
Nah, Electrode can sometimes get two moves without agile style and if doesn't get the two moves, agile will guarantee it. Slap Thunder wave on him and you can use it to catch any non-electric or ground type in the game. Against Diagla, I T-waved threw ultra ball; done.
Yeeess
God shut about the Garchomp losing earthquake thing. You've mentioned it countless times already
Bibarel with Hyper Fang ain't that horrid. If you like beavers. C'mon man Arceus shoulda had Raticate line. Lol. And Pidgey line. Staraptor and Bibarel suck. Gimme my Pidgeot and Raticate.
Chattot!!!
I can never play Legends Arceus. My parents can't afford it. 😭😭😭
Get a job and get it yourself
@@CoronaMan666 I am small to do a job but a big fan of Pikemon and I have the most knowledge of Pokemon in my whole city.
@Samina Anjum So what if you're small, odd jobs around the town or from Neighbors will do it. Not that hard.
Bro cherrim….
Kricketune and Parasect are hot garbage
Lie
The worst team is
Starly
Magikarp
Wurmple
Shieldon
Buneary
Basculin
This is over kill I can't even beat volo with Pokemon ten levels higher then his😓😓😓😓😓😓😓😓😓😓😓😓😓😓😓😓😓
Clutching at straws for content now he is
Yup and I'm ok with it
First
Why you gotta disrespect Chimecho like that again Mystic? I’m getting real tired of you punking my favorite Pokémons lol
Why do you pronounce it bee barrel?????? Stop that.
Don't wanna be negative but man this video sucks. Trying to be constructive here.
1. This video would make sense if you first saw the dex around release. But now we know that the attack stat doesn't matter much in the new damage calc formula. Bibarel can rock the special moves. So can bastiodon.
2. It would be interesting if you actually attempt a play through with these pokemon and share your experience or something. My point is right now it just sounds like you babbling about hypothetical stuff.
I feel like you’re very hit or miss. You don’t give the most accurate representations but rather you own opinions. Do better
