My best ever purchase in 2023, with Steam winter sale 70% discount 🤑 Have been playing for 10 hours now, no bug, delay, errors like people said. I guess by pc is amazing People just being too salty about this game. for me I really enjoy it feels really different and fresh new than Origins and Unity. Love Vikings lore and Valhalla is another different level of fun game and stunning graphics. I recommended everyone to play it.
If the double blade didn't exist before Altair, they could have at least gave eivor a knife or dagger on the other hand for that double assassination, and then throwing the axe or two as an option after. I'm PRAYING they will do that as an update!

Assassination kills have become waaaaay too basic. It's more about melee combat now. I remember those brotherhood, ac3, and ac unity which made the game so stylish.
AC Unity was basic? 3? 4? Rogue? Brotherhood? That's what Assassin's Creed was all about. Assassination, badass counter attacks, and in brotherhood you can even recruit your own assassins and upgrade them and also send them on missions, Unity had some really nice Co-Op, 3, 4, and Rogue had their own unique features as well. But once Odyssey, and Valhalla hit. It's just an RPG. There's really nothing special about that. Origins is also an RPG but it's more tolerable to an extent. I'm not even talking about Ac1, 2 and revelations either, I know those were still good during its time. Just look at the animations. I don't even have to explain this if you know what AC used to be and it's really not what it is today.

Idk about you but Untiy played perfectly on my rig, probably only had a less than a hand full of bugs but it didn't even take away anything from the fun. I do agree the story was trash obviously. And even in the other ac games I mentioned weren't that bad. Yes they did add a few tweaks here and there as far as gameplay but it's still better than the 3 latest ones. I mean if your and RPG fan that's great, no harm done. AC is just not what it is anymore, and that's a fact. They give you spartan, magi, or viking and throw the name Assassin's Creed on it but there's no style to Assassination anymore. Hidden blade is dead. That's what the whole game revolved around. Not melee combat. It was like its own version of Hitman.

But imagine, like in League of legends there is a champion who uses this blades the same way like here in Valhalla, only with to of them. I mean in WW1, soldiers used sword, kifes and shovels. They also used horses and pigeons. But in WW2 those things are not used anymore, at least not in combat. Why the cloth is so stiff? Overall physics system, cloth simulation, perfect animations with inverted kinematics (IK) are best developed by only Rockstart Studio. Checkout their GTA 5 and Red Dead Redemption 2. These days only graphics are improving. We need better gameplay experience and perfection in physics based systems. Its 2020.

Assassin's Creed has become like Fast and Furious franchise. First it was all about the hidden blade and being an... Assassin. Stealth, efective, deadly and silent - even having your own Assassin harem... I mean team and send them to missions. And FaF (lol) was about street racing, tuned cars etc and a side story. Now FaF is, whatever, and AC since Odyssey (great game btw) and from what I see Valhalla too - although V has the HB and Od doesn't, it's mainly an RPG game (same style as Ghost of Tsusima - now that's an epic game). Odyssey is a really nice game but the fact that there was no Hidden Blade it's simple unacceptable. Valhalla does have it, but the fights are more focused on RPG style than the original AC. Origin too. I mean you have missions that are nearly impossible to complete (bosses) and have nothing to do about being an assassin. Nice games, but I wouldn't call them AC anymore. Maybe Brutal killing Creed or something...
Damn this franchise lost it's identity. I know there were some aspects of AC that weren't realistic, but come one, riding giant wolves and Pegasus? This isn't Assassin's Creed.
The Parkour is rough in this game. Everytime he lands from great distance his legs absorb the impact bkuz he doesn't tuck n roll. That's really bad on the knees.
Honestly, origins tops it off all of the new gen, I do like Greek, it was an odd storyline. I still like it. I haven’t played evior so idk the story and don’t spoil it for me
@LaDio I remember when Ubisoft released the demo and it was clunky as helll and we all thought that the game was far from finished, the lip sinking was off, and the loading time between cutscenes took forever and many people are finding severe bugs, and this looks exactly the same as the demo like they didn’t improve anything since. Personally I’m gonna wait to get it on the new generation, hopefully it will be more refined
