I had always wanted to meet up with her somewhere and go on a trip. So it was kind of like a little dream come true! with that being said meeting Miss Vynnessa was a wonderful blessing as you know how wonderful she is. Through the advice of one of my friends at home I had watched quite a few videos on cruises, not just Margaritaville! of course, I have watched all the Vlogs of the cruises that the girls have taken. Bottom line I had a blast. It was wonderful !!!!! just like with life. Little things went wrong, but it was still amazing. Something I will remember and appreciate for the rest of my life!!!! Actually for me the worst part was those rocks, but you’ll have to watch next week and see!!

I paid for MY mom to go on this vacation becuz she has NEVER been anywhere else but the city we grew up in. I did what I could! Financially this is what I could afford. The goal was here to get to the beach, make memories with her, and for her to have a good time. And that’s what happened, regardless of all the other BS that happened. So PLEASE stop coming for my friend Vynnessa!
I dont think anyone owes anyone a statement, it's well documented by many cruise vloggers that the ship is subpar compared to other, possibly more expensive lines. I think where the disconnect came, was that some felt bad for your mom hearing the service drama's and comparisons about how great things are on those more premium lines which could have subconsciously downgraded the vibe of her first cruise. I don't think that was anyones intention, I think like you said the goal was to go and take in the sights, make fun memories for your mom and afford it all which I'm sure is what you all did! I think this cruise is just an exercise in tempering expectations and taking things for what they are worth, enjoying the drinks, social and party scene! Id definitely go for a weekend with the more lively of my family/friends or something and just have fun! I like this channel, cant wait to see how the Margaritaville series ends!
I used to be the first to say “you get what you pay for”, but then you’re on a tight budget, but want to experience new things, you should be able to do just that and still have a great time. Your heart was in the right place, and Mom was grateful to have the opportunity to see/do something new. and your girl was trying hard to make your Moms trip the best experience possible. I was angry for you all at the way the ship looked and your room accommodations. Hopefully you are compensated a little for the bait and switch room.
I had a BLAST!!!! We made great memories and this was the most fun we’ve had together in YEARS!!!! Vynnessa was an absolute pleasure she was so full of info and just NICE !!! a large part of the videos that she made that we’re dealing with the phone calls and stuff was done out of my view. I love that. My daughter did this for me and I appreciate it very very very very much. Please don’t come at my daughter and my other daughter! Thank you
Hi best friends! Something I want to address and make clear as I keep receiving the same comment… While I love Mama Karen and she’s awesome- I am not the one who paid for her travel. Kristina is her wonderful daughter that spent a decent amount of money for her to come on a small but meaningful trip. Please keep in mind that everyone has different budgets (especially when paying for more than one person to travel!) and while Karen DOES deserve a luxurious Virgin cruise, the timing, time off work, and budget was not in their favor for that. She was also thoroughly educated on this Cruiseline (shout out to her faves- Travel Spree!) so her expectations were managed. As the seasoned cruiser, I did everything I could to make lemonade out of lemons for this wonderful woman and you’ll have to finish this vlog series to see if we could pull it off. Thank you for lovin on her and being so sweet! She was nervous about being on the internet (because ya’ll can be ferocious & feral lol), but yall have been so protective and caring- like best friends should be. :).

I went on this cruise for my honeymoon and also stayed on the island for a few days and I just wanna say this WAS NOT my experience at all. I also upgraded our experience with the drink package and fine dining experience. My husband and I enjoyed every moment would definitely do it again.

I think you did a great job of navigating that entire first day with all the problems you had AND ended the day on a positive note . Ms Karen looked like she had a great time regardless and was chill and happy to leave you to sort it out . Well done 👏🏽.
When I voiced my concern Kristy clearly told me oh don’t worry, she will get everything straightened out because at one point I did feel bad My daughter spent extra money for a balcony and we didn’t get it.

I took this cruise the first of the year and yup… it’s that bad! Unless they’ve changed things, the only way to really get information is on the TV. It has the schedule and most of the other info you need to know. Weird that customer service didn’t tell you that. Get Ms. Karen on a 3-day Carnival cruise. She’ll have a much better time. I hope the rest of the journey turns out better!
I’ve seen so many awful reviews on Margaritaville and now based on how you were treated I will absolutely never go on it and make sure I share your video with anyone who even thinks about it. Outrageous that they have literally no costumer service.

QUEST was hilarious and it was so funny because all night Kristy kept saying “ mom wear the big bra the biggest one you brought!!!” and we would’ve had it off before the other team had she warned me to unbuckle some of the snaps first I had no idea what we were getting into

My first cruise with Virgin my room was on deck 13! We had a great room and a great time. ❤ We were close to the elevators and the stairs... easy commute to the Galley.
I am sorry you all went through that. I have always seen videos on UA-cam about the Margaritaville cruise line. And people always say in more words or less that the cruise is cheap and one should not expect that much. But I don't recall videos commenting about the Margaritaville customer service on the ship and over the phone. I work as an escalations rep for an insurance company. And your experience reminded me of the training videos we look at on what not to do. I hope you were able to get a resolution. I vote redo....Mama Karen deserves a Virgin Cruise.

Did you pick your own room? I always pick over the floor plans, and it would have been pretty obvious theres no balconies. I cruised on this same ship back when it was Costa Classica and they had no balconies whatsoever unless you're on a Grand Terrace Suite
No, we were not able to pick the cabin. The info on the website, as I showed several times in the video, stated very obviously that there would be a balcony.
Thank you for a very informative view on "MARGARBAGEVILLE" I can visually see that everything you have commented on has been validated from the Walmart boxed food buffet, dirty shower with a used Vacuum holes for a hairdryer, shower curtain with poorly stain shower area and crappy customer service. This cruise was grossly overpriced!🥵
This ship is horrible. from the website doing a bait and switch, to the non customer service reps on the ship and in the call center. You did the best you could, and you’re right, everyone doesn’t have the same budget. However I want quality for what I spend my money on. We’ll see how long they keep afloat
I actually love MAS. I cruised on Paradise when it was called Bahamas Paradise Cruise line, as well as MAS. I look forward to trying out Islander in September.

Look, I went on MAS last July and we beefed over the drink wrist bands because they charged us wrong and cheated us out of like 3 drinks. But agreed, the food in the dining room was surprisingly good. We had to order room service for late night eats but the chicken tenders and pizza were good, or I was drunk, regardless we were gonna have a good time. We will never go back on MAS but appreciated it for what it was. Thank you for your honesty, it’s your truth and that’s it! ❤❤
Vacation Vibes this has to be the worst Cruise Ever and my Worst was Carnival Sunshine and Carnival Panorama. I had 6 cases against Panorama and 3 groups left on day 3 of a 7 day Cruise.
We understand budgets and all and I agree, Momma Karen did great and that was nice of her daughter to do that for her. It’s just I hate the way they did yall with the room etc., nonetheless, y’all had a good time & better days are coming for daughter & Momma Karen. Thank you too Sis for sharing despite the negative. I have seen enough reviews to know I will NEVER cruise with them. Thanks for your honest review. I got a junior suite with balcony on Princess for that amount. They will never get my money.
I am a Veteran cruiser I think I have 52 under my belt. Just tried Princess for the first time and the service was top notch, the food the best I have ever eaten on any cruise. Only draw back it is an older crowd nothing for teenagers or family’s so you have to bring your own group to make it a fun time. It was a group of 6 of us. But the service, cleanliness and food was top tier. Put it on your bucket list.
Your cabin reminds me of Motel 6. I pray that your friend receives a blessing and can take her mother on a better vacation. Im sure Ms. Karen was grateful. Its the thought that counts.

1st time viewer. I must say that was a great Ad read. I partly always get a premium drink package to assure I get bottled water (with my premium drinks)
Yeah it was Costa! You can still see the c on the top of the ship from what I’ve heard. That’s so crazy all these years they didn’t change the plugs even!! You would think it costs more to replace converters all the time
Couple things I want to point out, as I just took that cruise about three weeks after you did. First, as far as scanning the QR code to get the cruise schedule, that's something they should have told you when you were checking in at the terminal, as that's what happened with us when we checked in. Second, as far as the muster stations, they had us go straight to the muster stations as soon as we boarded, so we didn't even have time to put our stuff in our room before we did that. All they did was check off our room number and told us to watch the briefing on the TV. I would have preferred to toss my stuff before having to go to the muster station, so I wouldn't have to drag everything with me everywhere. That said, I completely missed the briefing, as my friend had turned the TV on as I was trying to get my camera set up, and the briefing had started to play as soon as he turned the TV on. Third, as far as the sign on the back of the door with information like outlets and stuff, I wonder if they just put a generic one in all the rooms. We didn't have an issue with finding the outlets as they were stated, although we weren't in a suite like you were. That said, more outlets would be nice. The only places we ate on the ship were the burger bar and the buffet. Overall, I wasn't too impressed with the food quality or the limited hours. You wake up at 01:00 AM in the morning and get hungry, you're more or less screwed.
Sorry that the cruise didn’t go as expected for a bunch of reasons, but your outfits are always on point!!!! Also, not having free pizza late at night on a cruise should be a crime. lol. 😂
First, 30 mins in, I love Mama Karyn. Second, Margaritaville at Sea has to be tagged! Customer service 0 stars. Do not recommend. For a travel vlogger to experience this (even though she didn’t make it known), imagine what other people who do not voice their pace gone through.

not sure where you are looking, but on two sites it says it's a picturesque window or port hole. But, I would naturally assume a suite has a balcony, honestly.
I think you get what you pay for. For $1000 and 3 people sounds like a win. You not on voyage, royal or carnival, so you not going to get the same. Y’all should’ve taken that lady on a proper cruise. This is for people that know absolutely nothing about cruising it’s affordable, cruising for families, young people, but not for people that go on cruises. This is for people without a lot of money. This is not something you someone that cruises all the time.

Also, let’s not forget- we paid for a “balcony suite”, so we quite literally did not get what we paid for. However, I have been asked about my opinion of this cruise so many times that I felt it was time to check it out. It’s interesting that people watch me for info on cruises than get judge-y when I give them info on cruises.

When are you going on Virgin? My friends and I had an incredible time on a 5-night to Cozumel and Bimini in January. We decided 5 nights isn’t long enough so we booked an 8-night cruise for April 2025!
Even before they change the brand to Margaritaville they needed to stop calling this a cruise ship. This is at best a shuttle. Great video. Also I wish I had money to send to help yall give her a better cruise line experience. But again it’s not my money.

I've heard nothing but awful things about this cruise line. Which is interesting because their resorts have been pretty nice. Hopefully they will have a fresh start with the Islander and it will redeem them and they will gut and start over on the Paradise.
The Quest part 😂😂😂 glad to see more ships have this game Also, the bathrooms are like that in a lot of parts in Europe. Men and Woman toilets in separate stalls, but sharing a sink. Hella European and threw me off guard the first time I came about it 😅

I get it. She’s not my mother and I didn’t pay her way on… but it has a lot to do with budget and timing. Miss Karen was thoroughly educated on this decision before we went onboard, so she kind of knew what to expect. We picked a room with a balcony to give her the best regardless and I honestly had been seeing that the cruise line had “made changes” and had seen an increase in decent reviews. I was not expecting a terrible experience… maybe not the best, but definitely not this…. With that being said, she will be booked on a better cruise soon :). She deserves the world… and better service.

When I voiced my concern Kristy clearly told me oh don’t worry, she will get everything straightened out because at one point I did feel bad My daughter spent extra money for a balcony and we didn’t get it.

Some things were not exactly what the girls expected but the trip was definitely not a failure
I took this cruise the first of the year and yup… it’s that bad! Unless they’ve changed things, the only way to really get information is on the TV. It has the schedule and most of the other info you need to know. Weird that customer service didn’t tell you that. Get Ms. Karen on a 3-day Carnival cruise. She’ll have a much better time. I hope the rest of the journey turns out better!
I hope momma Karen gets to go on another cruise, on Carnival, RC, or Virgin to have the time of her life.
I’ve seen so many awful reviews on Margaritaville and now based on how you were treated I will absolutely never go on it and make sure I share your video with anyone who even thinks about it. Outrageous that they have literally no costumer service.

QUEST was hilarious and it was so funny because all night Kristy kept saying “ mom wear the big bra the biggest one you brought!!!” and we would’ve had it off before the other team had she warned me to unbuckle some of the snaps first I had no idea what we were getting into

Virgin is amazing. My best friend convinced me to try a Carnival cruise in August and I’m nervous that I’m going to hate it compared to Virgin.
My first cruise with Virgin my room was on deck 13! We had a great room and a great time. ❤ We were close to the elevators and the stairs... easy commute to the Galley.

I am sorry you all went through that. I have always seen videos on UA-cam about the Margaritaville cruise line. And people always say in more words or less that the cruise is cheap and one should not expect that much. But I don't recall videos commenting about the Margaritaville customer service on the ship and over the phone. I work as an escalations rep for an insurance company. And your experience reminded me of the training videos we look at on what not to do. I hope you were able to get a resolution. I vote redo....Mama Karen deserves a Virgin Cruise.

Did you pick your own room? I always pick over the floor plans, and it would have been pretty obvious theres no balconies. I cruised on this same ship back when it was Costa Classica and they had no balconies whatsoever unless you're on a Grand Terrace Suite
No, we were not able to pick the cabin. The info on the website, as I showed several times in the video, stated very obviously that there would be a balcony.
Thank you for a very informative view on "MARGARBAGEVILLE" I can visually see that everything you have commented on has been validated from the Walmart boxed food buffet, dirty shower with a used Vacuum holes for a hairdryer, shower curtain with poorly stain shower area and crappy customer service. This cruise was grossly overpriced!🥵

This ship is horrible. from the website doing a bait and switch, to the non customer service reps on the ship and in the call center. You did the best you could, and you’re right, everyone doesn’t have the same budget. However I want quality for what I spend my money on. We’ll see how long they keep afloat

I actually love MAS. I cruised on Paradise when it was called Bahamas Paradise Cruise line, as well as MAS. I look forward to trying out Islander in September.

Look, I went on MAS last July and we beefed over the drink wrist bands because they charged us wrong and cheated us out of like 3 drinks. But agreed, the food in the dining room was surprisingly good. We had to order room service for late night eats but the chicken tenders and pizza were good, or I was drunk, regardless we were gonna have a good time. We will never go back on MAS but appreciated it for what it was. Thank you for your honesty, it’s your truth and that’s it! ❤❤

Vacation Vibes this has to be the worst Cruise Ever and my Worst was Carnival Sunshine and Carnival Panorama. I had 6 cases against Panorama and 3 groups left on day 3 of a 7 day Cruise.
Im thinking about Panorama for next year, its bad?
We understand budgets and all and I agree, Momma Karen did great and that was nice of her daughter to do that for her. I am a Veteran cruiser I think I have 52 under my belt. Just tried Princess for the first time and the service was top notch, the food the best I have ever eaten on any cruise. Only draw back it is an older crowd nothing for teenagers or family’s so you have to bring your own group to make it a fun time. It was a group of 6 of us. But the service, cleanliness and food was top tier. Put it on your bucket list.
Your cabin reminds me of Motel 6. I pray that your friend receives a blessing and can take her mother on a better vacation. Im sure Ms. Karen was grateful. Its the thought that counts.

Yeah it was Costa! You can still see the c on the top of the ship from what I’ve heard. That’s so crazy all these years they didn’t change the plugs even!! You would think it costs more to replace converters all the time
It is so crazy the lack of changes! The elevators even still talk in Italian lol.
Couple things I want to point out, as I just took that cruise about three weeks after you did. First, as far as scanning the QR code to get the cruise schedule, that's something they should have told you when you were checking in at the terminal, as that's what happened with us when we checked in. Second, as far as the muster stations, they had us go straight to the muster stations as soon as we boarded, so we didn't even have time to put our stuff in our room before we did that. All they did was check off our room number and told us to watch the briefing on the TV. I would have preferred to toss my stuff before having to go to the muster station, so I wouldn't have to drag everything with me everywhere. That said, I completely missed the briefing, as my friend had turned the TV on as I was trying to get my camera set up, and the briefing had started to play as soon as he turned the TV on. Third, as far as the sign on the back of the door with information like outlets and stuff, I wonder if they just put a generic one in all the rooms. We didn't have an issue with finding the outlets as they were stated, although we weren't in a suite like you were. That said, more outlets would be nice. The only places we ate on the ship were the burger bar and the buffet. Overall, I wasn't too impressed with the food quality or the limited hours. You wake up at 01:00 AM in the morning and get hungry, you're more or less screwed.
Sorry that the cruise didn’t go as expected for a bunch of reasons, but your outfits are always on point!!!! Also, not having free pizza late at night on a cruise should be a crime. lol. 😂

I think you get what you pay for. For $1000 and 3 people sounds like a win. You not on voyage, royal or carnival, so you not going to get the same. Y’all should’ve taken that lady on a proper cruise. This is for people that know absolutely nothing about cruising it’s affordable, cruising for families, young people, but not for people that go on cruises. This is for people without a lot of money. This is not something you someone that cruises all the time.
I’m so flattered you think I’m wealthy enough to rain 🥹. Also, $1000 for 2 days is not a win when could have gotten 2 porthole rooms for $800 with the “deal” we had. Also, let’s not forget- we paid for a “balcony suite”, so we quite literally did not get what we paid for.
I’m also a cruise vlogger, I’ve avoided the ship for 2 years because of my personally preference. However, I have been asked about my opinion of this cruise so many times that I felt it was time to check it out. It’s interesting that people watch me for info on cruises than get judge-y when I give them info on cruises.

When are you going on Virgin? My friends and I had an incredible time on a 5-night to Cozumel and Bimini in January. We decided 5 nights isn’t long enough so we booked an 8-night cruise for April 2025!

I've heard nothing but awful things about this cruise line. Which is interesting because their resorts have been pretty nice. Hopefully they will have a fresh start with the Islander and it will redeem them and they will gut and start over on the Paradise.
Maybe they will get a rest start with the islander, but right now it being priced similar to carnival… I don’t see the point.

I watched the whole vlog and still fail to see why ya'll chose this cruiseline for her first cruise given the reputation. Please don't think Im attacking you guy's but why?
I get it. She’s not my mother and I didn’t pay her way on… but it has a lot to do with budget and timing. Miss Karen was thoroughly educated on this decision before we went onboard, so she kind of knew what to expect. We picked a room with a balcony to give her the best regardless and I honestly had been seeing that the cruise line had “made changes” and had seen an increase in decent reviews. I was not expecting a terrible experience… maybe not the best, but definitely not this….
With that being said, she will be booked on a better cruise soon :). She deserves the world… and better service.
