If you haven't already checked, Jungkook did the opening for the Qatar World Cup! Seven made history for the Billboard All Kill performance on its First week! It is still making history on its 4th week by the way. Jungkook our superstar!
Latto's verse in the song makes a lot more sense if you listen to the explicit version of the song which is used for the performance video. I hope you check out the other 6 member's solos as well. All of their solo projects have been so different so far.

JungKook’s position in BTS is the Main Vocalist. That doesn’t mean he’s the main singer. They do a good job of spreading the lyrics around. But he has a lot of responsibilities behind the scenes. He was 13 when he left home to become a trainee and 15 when BTS debuted. A lot of responsibility at such a young age. That’s why I get so defensive for him when solo fans of others are dismissive towards him. If you want to see JK rap, watch their first songs “No More Dream” and “We are Bulletproof, pt 2”, or watch a JungKook Rap Compilation video.

I would love to see you watch Taylor’s Guide to BTS. You won’t be disappointed or think it was a waste if your time. Every reactor I’ve watched seeing it says they are so happy they watched it. The , please go further down this rabbit hole. Their dance practices and lives are also wonderful.
All of the others have released solo projects that are really good. V just released in the last few days two songs that are completely different than this. Shows how diverse these guys are. “Love Me Again” and “Rainy Days”.
Actually him being the main vocalist does make him "the main singer", he's not the only singer of course, but apart of being the main vocalist, he records the vocal guides, does the background vocals, mostly always either starts the song or has the chorus or bridge, and he pretty much 95% of the time has the most lines.

Jungkook said in an interview or weverse live (i cant remember rn exactly where) he was debating whether to release the clean or explicit ver. and in the end decided to go with both of them which is what he ended up doing seeing as he released the clean and explicit + the instrumental on streaming platforms on the day of release, the official mv is with the clean ver and the performance mv is with the explicit ver

The Explicit Version is not the OG lmao, They actually recorded and made the clean version first, then Andrew suggested that they make an Explicit version as well, and then they tried to decide which one to realase and then they decided to just release both

Their are seven of them and they all have different unique voices! When I first started listening to them in 2017 I couldn’t tell them apart but now after listening to them and all their different genres U can listen to any song and tell whose singing when! JungKook is main vocalist and he’s responsible for most of the ad libs you hear through out their songs! They have a song call Film Out! I highly recommend you watch this video and you’ll see what I mean!

You should react to old Jungkook stuff. This song kind of - well for me it was blah because it's just trying to be cool western music. His songs in Korean with BTS are so much better. His voice is amazing. BTS vocal line is amazing.
There’s nothing wrong with having a song that sounds like “cool western music” lol jungkook loves it and he’s always been a pop boy. His fav artists are literally western pop singers lmao. This being his debut song is no surprise. I agree his Korean tracks are superior but seven definitely isn’t “blah” otherwise it wouldn’t be doing so well in the charts and among GP.

Although BTS are of course highly skilled at blending different genres of music together, on this occasion that blend has nothing to do with Jungkook.
This is a modern example of UK garage music whiich was popular in the 90's. It was referred to as UK garage to differentiate it from the original garage house music from the US.
It was just as you described it, being a mix of house, hip hop, RnB and pop with other genres such as reggae thrown in.
The most well known garage artist was Craig David, and this song is very much following in his footsteps. His musuc still stands up well today if you would like to listen to it. The other main garage act was the So Solid Crew which was much more gritty.
Garage music has made a bit of a comeback just lately, with this song plus Love Like This from Zayn (ex One Direction) and Don't Say Love by Leigh Anne (ex Little Mix).
