Natasha Denona Hy-Glam Powder Foundation || Does It Work On Mature Skin?

- I'm trying the new Natasha Denona Hy-Glam Powder Foundation today to see if it works on mature skin. I'm 49-years-old and have combo skin. This time of year is a challenge for my skin because of all the temperature fluctuations. So I'm dealing with some dryness, loss of elasticity, and fine lines. I'm curious to see how this sits on the face and wears. Let me know what your favorite powder foundation is, and if you're planning on picking this one up.
* Wear Notes - This wore really well for the entire day. The longer I wore it, the less powdery it looked. It didn't make my undereyes look dry as the day progressed, and it helped to keep my concealer set. I didn't lose coverage on my face anywhere. I'm fairly impressed. Hi Rebecca. Thank you for taking the chance on this powder foundation. I have been waiting to see a review from someone who is close to my age. I still don’t know if I am going try this one when it comes time to purchase a new foundation. I generally like a powder foundation because they are fast, easy and provide light coverage. Definitely going to wait for your update and likely a few more months to see if it reappears in favorite videos or what I am using videos over several months. I hope you are feeling well! Thanks so much for making the time to watch. I'll wear it as a setting powder tomorrow. I think it might look better right out of the gate without having to add setting spray. I really got a heavy application with the sponge. I probably picked up too much. Maybe a lighter hand will make it look better.

It was nice to see that in your updated notes, that this Warwel throughout the day for people with dry skin. Not a foundation where, and definitely wouldn’t be a powder foundation where, but this is definitely something that could be considered as a setting powder if it wasn’t drying. So glad to see your update and looking forward to, the next update to see if it continues to wear as well. It did look good on you. And I loved your lip color lol.
My lip color is a mix of a liver from af94 and the beauty pie lipstick in smashing coral. I think that this powder foundation is going to work well for me. I liked to way it wore for me, and can't wait to see how it wears when I try it as setting powder.
This looks beautiful on you. I recently used Bare Minerals original formula and was surprised it worked well...I'm in my 60s
I haven't used bare minerals in such a long time. I remember when I use to swirl, tap and buff every day. It's a great product. This one is good too, but kind of expensive.
This product brings me back to my youth when all I’d wear is powder foundations! I’m tempted--looks beautiful on you especially after setting. Gonna wait till high summer when I’m really oily. RN my skin is balanced.

I got N2. It settled under my eyes for sure when I used it alone. I have used it as a setting powder once. It was okay. I need to try different primers ect to see what works the best. We are having humidity so my nose is an oil well. It kept me matte for about 4 hours as a setting powder. I will be interested to see what your continued thoughts are. Have a wonderful week ❌️ ⭕️
Good to know you didn't like it under the eyes. I didn't have any problems, but every face is different. I didn't use a primer because I normally go without. I didn't want to give this an unfair advantage, and I wanted to compare it the same way I compare most foundation. (without a primer) If you're already dealing with humidity you probably wear more mattifying powders. Which ones are your favorite? I'd love to know.
@@thelipstickgal Urban Decay Waterproof powder is a ride or die for me in summer. It has a slight tint. Not enough that I notice it. I really like Fenty powder foundation to set my makeup in the summer. Big fluffy brush and yes please. Take care ❌️ ⭕️

I didn't notice a smell, but I didn't stick my nose in it. I hope it works well for you. I really liked how it wore. 👍
I’ve been wondering how this works with mature skin. Not many reviews out there, lol. I ordered mine today and have high hopes.
I've been loving it. I prefer using a velour buff or a powder brush over the applicator that was included. I've used it both as setting powder and powder foundation. It works well both ways, and I really love the way it holds up all day long.

It doesn't make a lot of sense to review a powder foundation before either waiting an hour for your skin oil to work on it or spraying it. They all sit pretty crappy when first laid down. It gets better.
