Excellent video. Just received my S24+ and it's life changing after upgrading from an S20.
I have both and prefer my S20 as everything but battery, chip, and bluetooth connection to my cochlear implant is better and it has a microsd card so no need for music streaming. Which sucks cuz i traded in my graphite s23 for this s24 plus and its been a very disappointing experience outside of battery life. Hate the psuedo iphone build of the s24+ as well and prefer the curved back of the s20

I'm stuck on the camera assistant download. It looks like I can download "Fine Lock" which has good lock and camera assistant in it, though when I'm ready to download it says the connection is not private.

Thx. Hoping this helps. Coming from s9 & took a lot of low light shots at night in ambient lighting which I was always happy with (not using night mode) & I've done same with s24 ultra & I'm not liking what I see so I'm hoping to get that natural low light shot I used to get with my s9.
I also went from an s9+ to s24+. I am extremely disappointed at how grainy and out of focus (not the centre but around it like portrait mode) the photos are. Also if I view photos which were taken on the 24+ on my s9+, the photos are oversaturated.
@@november132 there's an update coming for camera that will hopefully address those issues. I will say the fingerprint scanner on s9 is better than s24!

Camera assistant is broke with the latest s24 update..
If your in 50 or 200 mp mode at 4.7 or 4.8 zoom and lock exposure is serverly under exposes the pic and looks blury etc..never did this before the update ..I used that mode alot since I could keep the mp with the upscale and it not drastically alter the pic with processing ..

Update..camera assistant seems to be working like it was before the previous update..can once again lock exposure with the latest update ... but it still iver processes the pic ..

I have a problem. I dont have sun on photo mode on my 12mpx camera, but on 50mpx,200mpx and portrait mode i have. What is the solution for this? Thanks.

Why you didn't turn on HDR10+?
Some of the slow motion AI effects don't work in that mode.
Because the quality of the photo is lower than not having it. It looks like a cheap oversharpened and flat photo vs more natural.
Check Samsung Enhance X in the Samsung store. Its a good editing feature.

How and WHY are you discouraging the use of the focus enhancer?? It absolutely DOES give you better clise-up pics using the higher resolution camera!

I'm disappointed in my 24+. On my old phone, 22, my photos were 300dpi. On 24+ they're only 72dpi which is not even print quality. I use 50m and have even tried raw but it's still only 72dpi. They're much larger photos but at 72dpi it's not good and as an artist who takes photos of my artwork this stinks.
Reserving one today. Hope I'm making the right decision.

Do you have a tip, how can I turn off the post processing in gallery. I never know how the photo will look like and how much different it is going to be from preview. Sometimes it does good job but sometimes the photos are terrible, it is kind of russian roulette. I would like to have the photos as they are in preview.

@@Aleexandru Does not work for 50mpx and 200mpx, photos from these lenses are always overprocessed, it has no effect on the output. Only way which I found is to use "PRO" mode, however you can get over or under exposed images (or part of the image) due to HDR process off. Another way around is using 12mpx. But taking photos in 12mpx in nowadays is ridiculous, even my old Xiaomi which is 5 years old and cost around 350$ is taking photos by using 48mpx. I already contacted support about this error.

I got a question for the S24plus. Does the 30x zoom only work for pictures and not videos? Cause on video it only goes up to 12x. How can I fix this ?

In the gym, the phone does not seem to handle the lighting correctly. Like if im recording myself lifting weights, the muscle detail disappeares, and if there is a light above me the video comes out kinda washed out. Any of you gym goers got any tips? I have messed with the settings and cant figure it out.

Just bought a samsung galaxy s24 ultra. Why is that when I upload photos and videos on Facebook it's slightly burry ??? Help.
This is nothing to do with the phone, but Facebook's compression.
@NocturnaPhelps but on my old iphoneX it uploads fine on fb. Not blurry.
Everyone else suggests turning OFF scene optimizer... and set intelligent optimization to either "medium" or "minimum".
And yes I have tested it. Scene Optimizer over-exposes shots, and often makes colors unnaturally saturated. Because of that, I wouldn't really trust this video.

Front camera is of 12mp and mine one when clicks photo it fall down to 9mp why is that
Put to 3:4 ratio then it will take full sensor resolution with 12mp in total

I prefer to prioritize speed over focus. I'm a pro photographer, and as with my DSLRs, I choose my point of focus carefully and focus before I shoot. What is most important to me is minimal lag when I press the shutter button so I can capture my subject at the intended time...
There is some chatter, talk about an AI paywall. For now Samsung has no plans to make anyone pay for built in features of the phone. Now as it comes to the over 100 companies, it was 60 but that has grown in the past week that have partnered with Galaxy AI, they have their own plans. The start of that will happen in March, April. The whole new AI frame work is something that has never been done before by a mobile phone maker. They shifted billions of dollars in R&D to this. Every future product from the Flip 6, Fold 6, Galaxy Tab S10/X, to the new Watch 7, Watch 7 classic, Watch 7 sport will have it. But Samsung could even turn its now infant AI division into its own company with in a company. Just based on what if, maybe's the income from Galaxy AI for enterprise, education, and SMB would generate brand new income streams for Samsung, along with licensing payments in the tens of billions of dollars.

I dont like videos like these, camera or just general settings. Makes it look like samsung phones suck at stock, these setting barely make a difference (the prioritise focus over speed was probably where the phone focused on something else). The unnecessary settings and apps will just make the phone harder to use, and the disabled animations and weird keyboard dont help with the reputation of android phones. Default settings will likely be better. People, set up your phone as you want.

S24 in title and yet you show and use S24+
Unfortunately this doesn't help. My photos still come out grainy and out of focus (as if portrait mode is on). My s9+ is far superior. I dunno if an update will fix these issues or if i should return the phone.

I own the iPhone 13 Pro which beats the S24 in every way; the macro lens is 10x better.
How can I unlock the brightness settings that come up when you touch the screen as you take a picture?
Took me a bit to figure out but you have to touch and hold. Just touch does focus.
