Fact about this video - it was actually shot on three seperate days because of the availability of them all at the time - so Sugababes were shot on one day, then Sarah and Nadine from Girls Aloud on another day and then Cheryl, Kimberley and Nicola from Girls Aloud on another day, so everything you see of them all together is all done in post production! All credit to the director Trudy Bellinger - who subsequently did a lot of Girls Aloud's videos including 'The Promise' and 'Sexy! No No No...', she did an amazing job of updating this visually. It was for a good cause and it was number one as well 👍

How can anyone not appreciate the vibe, the video, etc.? Both groups are stopped playing music, but defo not forgotten! I, from The Netherlands, loved them both. Brilliant songs, great voices, in both groups. Love it! ❤
Actually Sugababes have a new album out and I went to their concert in February. My favourite song from their new album is Love Me Hard because it's more emotional and slower thant their other songs but still a bop.

2 of the best female groups from the 2000's.
I found out that this was filmed in three parts. First day were the Sugarbabes, Second day was Nicola, Cheryl and Kimberley, and Third day was Nadine and Sarah. If you look carefully, you'll see that they've cleverly super imposed Nadine and Sarah into the five piece Girls Aloud shots... clever editing and directing

Girls aloud had my childhood! I remember starting a girl group and all we did was sing and dance around the girls aloud songs, I'm pretty sure they hated me for it but I still love them😍

Listening and dancing to the Sugababes and Girls Aloud as a child in the noughties - cut to today, going to watch Girls Aloud as a four at the O2 feels like a full circle.
Seeing all these negative comments on this video dissapoints me. No matter how much this doesn't compare to the original it was done for charity, so it didn't need to be an 'amazing' standard. I personally love this version, I think it's nice that two girl bands united together instead of having a rivalry.

Girls Aloud & Sugababes were both popular UK chart topping Girl Bands of the 2000s and it was awesome they got to collaborate together for this cover of ‘Walk This Way’ for Comic Relief 2007. Although Girls Aloud & Sugababes weren’t top-tier to that of The Spice Girls, but they did sort of fill the void for them as the most popular Girl Bands throughout the 2000s in their own rights.

Sugababes were more about the voice (at least until Mutya left) and Girls Aloud were a more manufactured band, made to dance, sing and act. You can see in the video how the GA are more natural and dance more, but the Sugababes, especially Keisha, sing better.
Jardeson Barbosa Sugababes also had more original/unusual dress sense, especially around 2001-2003, compared to more fashionable Girls Aloud

Nadine put up a good fight, but the Sugababes won hands down - Keisha's ad-libs were on point! If Mutya was still in the band at the time though, she would've destroyed them all.
I found it hard to take the Sugababes seriously after Mutya left, she had a very different voice to other girl group members at the time. For me, the Sugababes were Mutya, Keisha and Heidi (at least from when I first heard them, I am aware that Siobhan was there before Heidi but I was very young to remember her being a Sugababe)
She was an arrogant chavvy maniac who always acted as though mainstream pop was beneath her
