    Florida QB Anthony Richardson
    Sophomore 6’4 232 lbs
Florida QB Anthony Richardson might be the most electric QB since Lamar Jackson. People shouldn’t expect him to develop into the former MVP, but his ceiling is really high. His potential is enough for a team to draft him early.

      Major bust potential.
Only reason I wouldn’t say he’s a total disaster is … he will be able to hide the fact that he’s not good by using his legs for a few years, until that becomes untenable; and it WILL become untenable.
For example, you don’t see Lamar quite as useful as a runner after a few injuries (or that is the primary focus less and less, I mean). As that aspect of his game increasingly becomes less and less, it’s entirely possible that Lamar will also flame out, sort of like Cam Newton. Keep in mind … both of those guys were the BEST case scenario of this kind of athletic qb, and both were light years beyond Richardson in terms of qb play.
Best case scenario: he uses his legs like Justin Fields and is able to make people excited for a while. And if Indy is smart, they can build some kind of tailor made system for him, like Lamar, and hold his hand for the first few years, allowing his threat of running to open up the pass game. And maybe that bridges the gap for them to bring in a legit qb?
But if you’re hoping this guy is going to lead the franchise anywhere … good luck with that?

I see the arm talent of an Aaron Rodgers, the mobility of Hurts, the gun-slinger mentality of Mahomes, just a smidge of Brady pocket presence, and he also has some of the Russell Wilson arm velocity. Man, he is raw for NFL standards, but if he can keep his head on straight like a Mahomes or Burrow, he could be scary good. I'm hoping the Hawks pick him and let him sit for at least a year or two and then let him loose.

I like all of your comps except Brady pocket presence. Pocket awareness, footwork, and decision making are all things he still needs to work on. @Nick III The more I looked into him, his footwork is the derivative of most of his issues. All these people saying he's not good throwing the ball, meaning accuravy worries. This is largely correct. But there's 3 reasons why that is. 1. His receivers weren't as good as previous years.
    2. Those receivers dropped the ball a lot
    3. HE'S ONLY A SOPHMORE who played behind Emory Jones last year and essentially had no reps. So he's basically a freshman.

I think Holmes is interested in him for sure. We shall see how he does in the interviews and see how good his football iq is. That is what will really determine his draft stock. The Lions are perfectly set up right now to draft him. Have him sit behind Goff for a season, hopefully Goff continues to play like he did last year, then we trade Goff for a first with 1 year left on his deal with a cap friendly contract at only 30 mil a year. They have similar playing styles except Richardson is way faster. I definitely think he could learn some stuff from cam. I mean shoot he won mvp just a few years ago and hasn't been on good team since. Cam newton definitely should still be playing in some capacity. I think colts could draw up trick plays with Richardson and newton on field at same time, both can throw , both can run. How would a defense stop that?
