      In east Turkey, Kurdish family’s have min 4 and sometimes 10 over. If had when I was teenager I had more than 30 Men Cousins. In my ages +3/-3 nearly 20. I know families with over 100 Cousins. These families have mire then one wife.

      I can translate. I am somewhat familiar with some of the native tribes of New Zealand. This will be a rough translation since some of their words don't translate too well to English. They were saying " I'm going to miss having you at night, all to ourselves. We grew strong together when we took a shower and even stronger when we tossed each other's salad. There will be no one else like you that can tug and pull our members like you can. We were fast friends but slow lovers. Please return your brown eye safe and pure. We will miss you."

    I watched this so many times. It wasn’t just a ritual - these men were 💯 devoted to every breath, sound, thought, movement. This was incredible to witness.     I love seeing the younger generations taking up their mantle and continuing their sacred traditions. Their cousin will be successful and this Haka will be a witness to others watching as well!!

      Our young boys learn the Haka when they’re really young. They see it so much, it’s natural for them to follow.

      @@kiwigirlNZ there are a few families at my church from New Zealand who perform the Haka. They perform for missionaries and at special occasions. Every member from young to elders men and women. It’s amazing to witness 😎🎉

      @CRM Williams see that's the fallacy..1st it's a myth..we do it just as much as any other..2nd it perpetuated thru the media to be worse than what it is..3rd the part that everyone seems to over look is we were literally brainwashed and endocturnated for hundreds of years to be against one another.. the media is still pushing that to this day..we as a ppl are not as bad off as some would tell u but we have been cut off from our history and traditions, which is devastating..

    We all need our support team. These young men reminding eachother to not be afraid but do it with courage and do not forget who you are because we won't.
    I retired from the military in 2008 this brought nothing but tears. We need our battle bros.

      @@cerberus3426 it was a good joke 😉 haka isn't part of my heritage but it moves my spirit watching the display of fire and ferocity. I've looked up a translation of a certain one and it was along the lines of life has difficulty but you will make it thru with love and purpose in your heart. I would cry before I read that interpretation but the combination of all those things is life giving.

    I was literally amazed to see a performance like this live when I saw alien weaponry (a Māori band) play here in south California. It’s so powerful and breathtaking. And even though I am not Māori, it felt so personal to be so close.
