  • In a pulse-pounding and unforgettable scene from the martial arts classic The Way of the Dragon, Tang Lung, portrayed by the legendary Bruce Lee, joins forces with the brave staff of Chen Ching-hua's restaurant to take on a ruthless gang of thugs. Together, they engage in a fierce and sprawling battle, with Tang leading the charge, his lightning-fast moves and indomitable spirit inspiring his allies to fight with everything they have. The restaurant becomes a whirlwind of flying fists, shattered furniture, and broken bodies as Tang and his companions unleash a barrage of kung fu techniques on their opponents. The choreography is a masterpiece of controlled chaos, showcasing Bruce Lee's unparalleled skill and the raw power of a united front against oppression. As the dust settles and the thugs lie defeated, Tang confronts their leader, his voice filled with righteous anger and unwavering resolve. He delivers a stern warning, making it crystal clear that the restaurant is off-limits and that any further attempts to intimidate or harm its people will be met with swift and merciless retribution.

      Totally! I highly recommend reading ALL his books too. There's some Great trivia as well as noble teachings.
      The poor chap at 2:01 behind Bruce unfortunately took a nunchaku to his lip which was a permanent scar he hid under his tash! :O He said that after the take, Bruce was so embarrassed & hugged the fellow.
      He also accidentally kicked the Boss man in the Jaw! Apparently Bruce was so cocky that he would kick the Cigar from his mouth! But it all went wrong one day when he suddenly turned his head. =D He said that he never heard anyone apologize so profusely as Bruce did that day, but that people would loose teeth gladly for Bruce because he was such a joy & honour to work with. Thankfully no teeth were lost, but words were spoken & Bruce would cut out the tomfoolery!!
      They all noted that Bruce was highly driven, passionate, restless & intent on looking good on screen. He practiced the ceiling lamp kick constantly up a brick wall with a marking, & that he also had the most rigid hand shake you could ever imagine! He would make you feel proud to be human. What a great guy. Truly humbling, but his books are very perspicacious. Buy "Striking Thoughts" if you can find it. It will teach you a lot about yourself.

      A little too much credit, fan boy. Yes he broke race barriers in being an Asian lead man who was muscular and kicked ass instead of being the house boy or the gardener. He couldn't speak English very well and had no acting ability. He was in fact a one trick pony. However, his influence in changing Hollywood's typecasting of Asian leading man did not last long. No Chinese leading man has starred in any movie unless you count Crazy Rich Asians. There has been zero TV shows with a Chinese leading man. Every Asian is either a background character of generic Asian stereotype, a sexless eunuch of an engineer or science geek. His influence had been exaggerated and really faded to nothingness.

    Bruce Lee une légende du cinéma d'art martiaux et fera en sorte que ce genre soit reconnu par Hollywood mais qui fera des émules a travers le mondes. Ces chorégraphies de combats sont inégalés encores aujourd'hui. Bruce Lee une légende inégalé et éternel.

    These movies skits are master pieces and should be put in archives also i like the movie kung fu hustle. Pure art. One more thing, at the 6:02 mark you can see how fast bruce lee really was when he grabs dude shoulder! And these characters were way before atari, sega genesis and other electronic games

    • @DeathBringer769
      @DeathBringer769 2 роки тому +4

      Don't know what Bruce Lee's insane speed has to do with electronic games, but technically Atari existed as a company already in 1972 and had their Pong arcade game out. They just hadn't released the famous Atari 2600 home system yet. The Magnavox Odyssey was also out in 1972.
