Yesterday I drafted a deck with two Frost Lich Jaina's. Was it a good choice to draft a second one . . . No, but I'd be damned if I'd passed up on such a glorious opportunity. Hopefully the I'll get the chance to play both in one game and blow my opponents mind.
That last turn, he had a lot of outs from arcane intellect. Frostbolt (2 of them), Rockpool Hunter, Earthen Ring Farseer, Ice Barrier, Stonehill Defender, Kooky Chemist. Any of these cards would have prevented the opponent from having lethal on board. You may need to hope for the bird to not get windfury, but still better than just not playing Arcane Intellect...

I had a guy topdeck deathwing -> jaina and go on to win the game when I had overwhelming board with a sick control/greedy priest with about 6 cards in hand. I am still a bit salty a week later...

After playing on 2 accounts every day for nearly 2 years, I haven't played since Throne released and I barely even enjoy watching anymore. Great job Blizzard.
He could've survived one more turn at the end though if he drew Frostbolt with AI. Because after trading he would've had a guaranteed freeze on the Flappy Bird.
I just got a 12 win arena, 12-2 with a double frost lich jaina mage. Rest of the deck was eh, proves how busted this card is. Had no flamestrike, no blizzard, only board clear was a meteor
Same damn thing happened to me today. Yesterday I went 11 wins with a Mage Deck without the DK, today I draft a deck with DK, lacking early game, and I have just been rushed down by fucking aggro decks, 2-3. I was about to trow the Mac out of the window.
I played Art of Conquest for a few months. Yellow is extremely unbalanced with its starting area. It gets about 1/4 of the map sectioned off while 4 other factions fight over the center. Despite this my faction (green) was still on par with yellow. Why? Because we had one guy called Legend27. Some Jap who spent, and I kid you not, tens of thousands of dollars. While everyone else had about 100k power he had over 1,000k power. He could literally take on entire towns on his own. His only limitation was his heroes energy and the troop cap. Anyway that all came to an end when one of our guilds captured a town he was working on capturing and he got angry. I did some calculations and he spent about 2k real life dollaridoos on simply buying energy to keep fighting and reviving his injured troops. After all that some ass hat on our side swooped in and captured the town and then refused to give it back. This caused him to rage quit, he disbanded his guild and fucked off. We did okay for a while since we had a foothold in the game. Then Art of Conquest introduced the ability to pay money to switch your faction. So Legend27 switched over to yellow and now the games pretty much over. Anyone with the premium currency available to switch over has switched to the winning faction (this is most likely the case on every server at the moment) and there's literally no point playing the game. The only way I could see Kripp being honest about enjoying it is if he's the biggest low life that spends thousands of dollars on this mobile game. Because that's what the game comes down to... who spends the most money.
Do you ever play arena decks that just look terrible, and are kind of combo-y, and then you end up winning a fair number of games and you're like "... how"?
I consistently draft 68-72 point decks, and just get completely obliterated. I feel like my opponents ALWAYS have insane answers. Usually never get passed 3 or 4 wins... Do I just suck? Or is it the time of day I'm playing? Do all the MLG players come out at midnight and such? what am I doing wrong :(
Salt aside, this is what Blizzard did to Arena by constantly neglecting the game mode and failing to balance it. RNG, high roll, curvestone bullshit every other game makes losing feel unfair and winning feel cheap.
I'm so tempted to boost the dark team during oktoberbrawl just to see Reynad and Kripp get salty af... But I just can't do it. I'm earning you packs buddy. You're welcome.
