Well, finally! Jo Anne Worley scored her third H/H match today, thus "graduating" to the big board! Like Orson, there's little depth to her data, so her accuracy score may not be as significant as that of the other celebs, but it's still clear that Jo Anne is a sharp player and good at the head-to-head matches. Plus, it's nice to welcome a new name on the leader board! Here's the updated leader board for the *8* celebs to have scored 3 or more H/H matches so far, ranked by their current accuracy scores: Orson - 100% (3 wins in 3 attempts). Jo Anne Worley - 75% (3 wins in 4 attempts). Betty - 52.6% (10 wins in 19 attempts). Jo Ann Pflug - 46.7% (7 wins in 15 attempts). Charles - 44% (11 wins in 25 attempts). Bert - 33.3% (5 wins in 15 attempts). Richard - 32.8% (40 wins in 122 attempts). Brett - 28.6% (6 wins in 21 attempts). Now we have 4 celebs left on the 2-win waiting list: Bill Daily 2 out of 2 tries (100%) Ann Elder 2 out of 3 tries (66.7%) Stu Gilliam 2 out of 5 tries (40%) Jack Klugman 2 out of 5 tries (40%) *These stats include every head-to-head match from episode 1 through 269, excluding the lost/missing episodes 31, 32, 33.
I know the answer (nose) was blindingly obvious, but when he quickly re-reads the question @ 07:36 he actually tells her the answer. Yes, it's a slip, and it wouldn't have changed the outcome because she obviously had it, but they probably should have reset the question. To be fair.
It's funny watching these early year episodes when Gene says "soooooo ugly" or "Dumb Dora was soooooo dumb" and it's crickets from the crowd. They caught on eventually!
Honestly, I don't know where the panel was getting "pregnant" from. Normally when a girl kisses a magic frog it turns into a prince. But the magic worked in reverse this time and Sally turned into a lady frog, fulfilling the frog's wish! I thought the contestant had a good answer and didn't deserve the "awwws".

Jo Ann had a zany, comedic talent that rubbed a few the wrong way but under all that was a quick wit and sharp mind! Too bad she wasn’t on the show more!!
I remember as a kid in the 1970's ... all the stay-at-home mom's would watch this show
And kids sick from school or playing sick, like me.
I was in College in ‘.74. All the Students would watch too.
It was very nice of Alejandro, Juliet, and Richard to wear the kids' leis for the entire episode.
Gene said nose! They should’ve went to another question. I think some of these people that come on the show are relatives.

TheGadgetPanda i heard that too.
Pretty sure they brought her back later due to Gene’s mistake and she won a game or two.
They brought her back at the end of episode 271.
I didn't catch it at first.
@@beckydutra6543 I had to listen a second time.
*Everybody now.....*
Audience.... FANTASTIC!!!!
First time this week a panelist other than Richard played the Head-To-Head.
Why did they not stop the question when gene read nose into that question!!!?
The brought her back in episode #271 to make sure she had a fair chance.
Good catch.
Alejandro caught it when he gave his answer, he said to Gene " you said nose" but no one caught it apparently.
@@thehouseof5gables388Her bark answer was so bad
lol Gene mentioned Whitefront!
I remember that store when I was young...I'm 60 now.
A fantastic episode! ;- )
What was your favorite part?
Panelists:
1. Alejandro Ray
2. Brett Somers
3. Charles Nelson Reilly
4. Juliet Mills
5. Richard Dawson
6. Jo Anne Worley
20:02 Mucho amusing y adorable (even though she spoke fluent English, or possibly because)
After 5 years, he began to look like a Monday.
lol
I"m surprised they didn't bring up the fact that Juana and Alejandro were both from Buenos Aires.

On this episode, do we see the beginnings of a proud tradition? Here's Gene actually calling for, "How ugly was she?"
I was wondering when they would start with how blank are they

Sometimes "funny" wins out over logical.
@@dmnemaine and you never can tell in advance.
I like her answer.
I bet Dee was thinking of the 1939 film of the same name.
I was born in Kansas City too Jan, We expect a better answer. 😂

There’s a mistake in the title. It’s supposed to be 269.
All fixed! Thank you!
I think if this were back in the late 60s they may have answered family affair
Is Brett drunk?
Alejandro and Charo should have gotten together so they could practice English pronunciation! Ha!!
Endentro’?? Gene it’s ‘ADENTRO’
way to go , Jo Anne !!!!
Jo Ann had a zany, comedic talent that rubbed a few the wrong way but under all that was a quick wit and sharp mind! Too bad she wasn’t on the show more!!
Dee: Fantastic!
A coconut? A coconut????
What do you think is the best answer?
I’ve been watching this show too much. It took me zero seconds to think of Raquel Welch lol!
Lol
We know BRETT is already drunk! Because she always melts off, trying to stage everyone and gets out of her chair
Bark???
Why is this a Good Star episode?
I'm wondering the same thing, I'm trying to finish off my block of 74 series and this is MOST unmemorable
@@donaldleroy6502 haha!
Isn’t it gold?
I know Gene said nose but I don't get why they had her back a couple days later because the panelists ALREADY had their answers written
I really wish I had watched these episodes before you. Gene said nose before the contestant, that's why.
Wart
Wow, that Jan was pretty useless at the game, wasn't she?
mosseisleyYT an absolute dumbshit.
With a guy smart enough to get into UMKC med school. I wonder how long that relationship lasted?
Someone wrote that she comes back in episode 271 because Gene used an answer in one of the questions about Cinderella.
I remember she pissed off everyone in KC. It was reported on the local news.
destroying the poor kids work, Brett?
trying to be punny?
typical Brett
Edward Lozano /Drew Freeman....🙌🏻😜😂😂😂😂
Why was Richard Dawson so nasty and aggressive? Brett also. Not funny.
