Cartoons have come a long way in the last few years, haven't they? What used to be viewed as a simple means of entertaining your kid or selling toys, have now become vehicles for smart comedy, deep mystery, and intense drama for people of nearly all ages! And no show is a better example of this than Disney's smash hit: Gravity Falls! I remember watching the very first episode the night it came out, and I fell in love with it. I would go on to watch every single episode on release night, and I would pause the credits at the end to decipher the hidden message. The long breaks between episodes was terrible, but I actually liked that the series stretched out for many years because it helped me get through my years in high school (yes, high schoolers can watch cartoons and love them.) I'm excited to share this adventure with my kids one day, and I hope they love it just as I do.

It looks like a great show and all, but everything comes full circle in season two. I was sobbing at the end of the series. If you’ve never seen the show, it’s much more clever and deep than it seems, but it takes every episode to appreciate. It’s honestly my favorite show of all time, and it’s really never too late to get into it

It was a mini-series, bruh. Never continued. Ended with LOTS of holes in it. How did the two of them end up in a MODERN DAY HOSPITAL? How did they get to the forest in the first place?? See? IT'S ALMOST AS CONVOLUTED AS KINGDOM HEARTS!

Wait no, they answered those questions. They drowned, right? Then they somehow- in the mind -ended up to that strange land. Then when Wirt rescued his brother, I forgot what happened, but in the lake they drowned in, they were rescued and they 'woke up'. Hm, strange, but truly beautiful. Not a lot of holes if you paid attention. But there are some strange mysteries, I guess.
The most popular theory is that while the were drowning, they were in purgatory/limbo.

I have always had a strong connection with this show. Gravity Falls was the show that introduced me to fandoms, it acted as an inspiration when it came to my story telling, and a couple episodes aired on my birthday, including the finale (and what’s even better? I turned 13 along side Dipper and Mabel)

I just hopped on the Gravity Falls bandwagon. I watched the first couple episodes, loved them, and ended up devouring a bit less than two seasons in two days. I love this show so much and cried a crap tone what I got to the finale, not only because it was so amazing and heart warming, but because it finished! If I had found this a couple years ago, I could have taken part in the treasure hunt and freaked out about all the new merchandise that was coming out. But no, uneducated me had not idea that the show existed
