Beryl will cause some havoc, my friend even inland when it’s no longer tropical storm and goes post tropical. Once the storm moves north and east the risk for damaging winds will start to go down. If you plan on taking a trip to the tropics this year, consider getting travel insurance through your airline carrier or your resort or your travel agency. That way in the event if there was a major disaster, you can get reimbursed. And chance of a hurricane coming to your vacation on there is very low.

Do you know if southwest Indiana will see a tropical depression? We’re in Utah, but will be flying back on Thursday, so do you know If I need to be prepared while flying back? If so what can I expect for the impacts?
@@sim12360 I wouldn’t anticipate any major impacts right now, it should just be a classic low pressure with heavy rainfall as its main concern (maybe some winds upwards of 20 for gusts). It is a little unknown whether Indiana will still be seeing many impacts by Thursday anyway since the rain will be moving ahead of the actual “low”. I’ll keep you posted.
@@ElevaTOURSbyRainMaves It could try to force some storms northward to your usual area of Wisconsin, but you should be out of the track of basically all of this storm’s precipitation.
@@jakesawesomevids7908 It goes to Illinois because longer range impacts will be possible in that direction as this storm weakens below tropical limits and is just bringing rain :) - I breakdown inland impacts towards the end of the video.
@@theannoyingbubba Especially the European model shows at least moderate to heavy rain midweek in Illinois, with gusty winds 20-30 mph certainly also possible. Keep an eye on it, but I wouldn’t be too worried about much more than isolated flooding right now for mostly central and southern locations.
