The Hood [Met Film School Short film] @reece.grant (Dir. by Reece Grant)

THE HOOD is my debut short film (social realism/crime drama/hood short film) and is a proof of concept film. THE HOOD is a realistic, gritty short film set in Lewisham and shot in a handheld documentary style. I wrote, directed, edited and produced this film when I was 19. Unfortunately, there will be no part 2, however, I will remake “THE HOOD” in the future as my debut feature film.
The storyline for THE HOOD was inspired by my real-life experiences in South East London, Lewisham Borough, and produced by Met Film School. The cast has a mixture of professional and non-professional actors, the soundtrack for the film was an original score by Laura Pickton and Franco Cugusi and the camera we used was a Sony PMW-EX3.
