The pitch bay dry sound "suffers" also from the drive circuit. Also with the gain down to zero, there's still a bit of drive colouring the sound. Btw I used to have both, but eventually I switched to a Digitech Drop. You can't set the mix, but the octave down effect is more solid and consistent.
