I've never seen woodwinds moving in unison like ballet dancers. Only Ms Stutzmann can pull that one out of her magic hat! What JOY!!!

No. Too mild! Erwache! I'm not on the side of adolf, but on the side of music. ua-cam.com/video/sbHD189DAp0/v-deo.html

Amazing performance. By everyone. I don't think I've ever seen a conductor show so much pure joy in what they are creating. Brava Ms Stutzman, brava.

In my opinion this performance is not lacking anything ... and is ~ in spite of the size of the orchestra ~ beautifully expressing Ludwig van Beethoven's intent of his so popular Third Symphony. Great rendition!
    Bravo Tapiola Sinfonietta!
    Bravo Nathalie Stutzmann!
And ~ thank you for the listening pleasure :o)

Your orchestra does not have the moment to get bored. It was the best performance I have been listening the sympony with a sense of tension until the end.

This is my favourite symphony, and I found this rendition to be particularly interesting; especially for a small orchestra. Beautiful!!

Excellent! The challenge of Beethoven 3 nowadays is that it's often performed with a rather small orchestra. But maestro Stutzmann was really good at making a small orchestra sound grand! Congratulations on the Atlanta Symphony post! ASO has been trailing behind in the US top orchestras. Hope Stutzmann can bring it back to the front!

    • @pilouetmissiou
      @pilouetmissiou 9 років тому +1

I think Natalie Stutzmann was enthusiastically punctuating some of the rhythms with her voice. Sir Colin Davis had the same habit and so did Sir Thomas Beecham.

@@frogmouth Neither you nor Natalie fully understand Beethoven's music.. specially the symphony No. 3 Eroica.
Nathalie Stutsmann should stick with conducting the early classical period composers.. Easier and more fluent. Beethoven's giant romantic era symphony is (Beethoven's key contribution and transition from classical to romantic).. is way above her head.. and as I mentioned she lacks correct emotions to conduct
this type of music.. thus the comment! Good day.
