I do find it interesting that the version of Jin that you normally play in Tekken 8, never technically exists in the story. At no point did he fight when he had full control of the Devil Gene while also not in his Devil form.
I know he wasn't playing Kaz at the time but I find it funny to think the special style Jin he fought seemed to have had him on the ropes more than any of the matches here lmao

How does beating TMM put him in contentions of being the G.O.A.T lol. Firstly, these guys are playing @180ms. I can end it here. Secondly, Devilster overall is just a WAY better Tekken Player. I can keep going but my point is very clear and concise it’s not even arguable.
PSA guys, you can beat most of Jin's zen transition mixup with df1, even the powercrush (zen 2). If Jin does zen 2, your df1 will freeze him in armor for a second, just enough time for you to duck it and ws punish. Df1 also catches his zenu1 (the flip) which can crush jabs. It also catches both zen 4 and zen 3+4 (the dive kick and the flying kick).
But he might not do zen at all. And u risk whiffing ur df1 and get whiff punished. And it can be hard to react to the zen because u can't hesitate if u intend to check with df1. Plus they can cancel into block if they are really good. But df1 check is a good option, not fullproof though.

I'm just a Kishin but I can see the transition easily. Also, unless the cancel is frame perfect, they're going to get hit with the df1.

Worth noting though is that kazuya IMO is a more limited character relying on high risk high reward attacks and creativity. Jin flows better (nothing to do with the user) but this is my view only so please disagree if you wish!
