It is making a ham/turkey sandwich for a homeless man who knocked on the door of your home one summer night asking, “I’m sorry to bother you, but could I trouble you for something to eat?” *MY* parents and I also gave him a bottle of water, a small bag of chips, a banana, and a brownie in a brown bag. *THAT* is “pure hearted.” *THAT* is “kindness.” It wasn’t for TV screens, magazine articles, or UA-cam. My mom wasn’t acting.
