Stretching for Ruckers just went live! This was a highly requested video and supplements the information provided here. Thank you guys for tuning in. ua-cam.com/video/7cei_JPGaRA/v-deo.html
Started this recently with a child carrier pack. Putting in my 25lb child and taking off down the road. I found a decent route with some incline and decline. It’s fun for both of us!
I just bought a GoRuck 3.0 plate carrier to get into rucking. I' m recovering from a heart ablation and a broken leg at 69 yers of age so I'm only using a 10 pound plate. Gotta build a base and start over. I used to run 25 miles a week and swim 6 miles a week. Still going to swim and now start rucking. I really liked your video, definitely Subscribed!
Just started a few months ago. I'm recovering from broken right shin and broken left Forearm. Got hit-and-run by someone driving a truck last year. But rocking has helped my leg and body get stronger and your videos help me a lot to do so. I'm at 32 pounds rucking now and I started at 23 pounds for rucking. Of course before that I was just walking fast and working on balance. Thank you for sharing the knowledge for someone who cannot biomecanically run yet, so rucking is the best answer. Before rucking I was an endurance bicyclist.
New sub here. Friday is my ruck day. Just did 3 miles weighted @ 30 lbs. and came in just under 16 min/mile. Personally, I've found it has fixed my neck and back issues that I used to have. I'm only 5' 8", so to get sub 16 min/miles I have to shuffle, but I'd rather shuffle than overextend my stride which I found caused more foot problems than shuffling.
I been racking my brain to who recommended Comfort Crisis and im glad i rewatched this today. Just finished it yesterday and thought it was awesome. Great video!
Nice! It is an excellent book. Another one that I came across recently is Breath by James Nestor ( amzn.to/3RUPwBa ) It’s got the same journalism/self experimentation spirit as Comfort Crisis. Thanks for watching!
I wore a 10kg weighted vest for my first rucking session and it's put my lower back out for nearly 4 days. It's 10% of my bodyweight so felt a sensible starting weight. I really enjoyed it and don't want to give up on it. Any advice?
If you're not used to waking start with that, and if you have a lack of muscle (years of sedentary lifestyle maybe, or anything else) you can start a bit lower weight or lower distances so that you don't hurt yourself then increase progressively.
@@getout116 in the best shape I’ve been in years. Rucking has actually done wonders to my body recomposition, and along with intermittent fasting…it’s actually helped me get off all diabetic medications!

Wow that is intense. Glad you are on the road to improvement. And, per a previous comment, thanks for the sub! Welcome to the Fam!
