I am using meteor for 6 months and I would like to share my views. When you get used to this bike you will not even think about fuel gauge as once its in reserve we know it can go till 150 kms and I dont even fear thinking my bike is gonna stop near soon. But RE can work on it well anyways. I think you guys living near sea just like me as the water we use to wash the bike will very much attract rust. Maybe that can be one of the reason on chain rusting. I wont wash my bike at all, I do take wet cloth and clean the bike to avoid rusting on bike. Ya the head light is not up to the mark at all, I am thing to change it and I didn't like the horn as well. Getting after market mudguard is best and RE accessories make you spend a bomb or make us get after market accessories. When I ride this bike it makes all these negatives negligible as I like a lot while riding this bike. Just a good maintenance will make this bike looks perfect.

I've been riding my meteor around 300 km every month and I didn't have faced any issues. Its overall a good cruiser in budget

Meteor runs almost 150 km in Trip F, that's why it's showing low fuel for riders safety... Himalayan also come with same meter now a days... I did not find any problem with fuel gauge in my meteor..

Fir se KICK !!!!!!!!!! EFI bike me kick is technically waste of money !!!!! Battery down hone se EFI bike waise bhi start nahi hogi (whether kick ho ya na)
Chain lube better quality ka daalo , And only apply after proper cleaning via Chain cleaner or Petrol

Front mudguard is too small.. when you ride on muddy road all mud comes to your face..

You are right.sir..I owned the super nova model a week back...I can feel the same issue.so I am gonna change the nitrox suspension..you can get it from royal Enfield service old classic 350 suspension

10000km maine chalaya hai bike ko singal person and double person dono mixed riding me.
Only one issue mai face kar raha hu again and again chain ka problem sounding ka aata rahta hai.
Over all best bike in 350 segment..

Meteor's fuel gauge is the most unreliable thing in the bike. You can't trust it blindly. Even just after refilling the tank to full, it will show minus 1 stick within minutes and keeps on fluctuating randomly. Some times shows that tank is full, after sometime suddenly drops 2 - 3 counts in fuel gauge 😡

This is not a dirt bike.All chains need to be cleaned and lubed, especially if you ride a street bike on dirt roads all the time. Fuel gauge is electronic, not mechanical, which can cause some issues when bike is low on fuel and leaned or accelerated. My Rt1100 has some issues as well. Plastic front fender is more dirt-bike-like. Won't dent when you drop the bike when your taking it or dirt roads. They only "complaint" I have is with the brakes. They feel more like drum brakes. Otherwise, high quality and so much fun to ride.

Hello @ClassicGears : In fuel injector motor , no use of kick rod. If fuel is less , bike will not start with kick. Please check once before saying something. Many are following you

Only headlight is poor, but nothing else is valid. I am using this bike but there is no such problem with chain if you know how to maintain your bike. Secondly I had installed Phillips Knightvission light so problem solved. And if you are talking about kick then you should use a Bajaj scooter

Open chain ⛓ set is problematic you have to clean it regularly and lubricate it, it is not mandatory that you should use m3, motul , just put , normal lub oil 🌧...

And bro mujhe to sirf dry chain ki aawaaj ki hi problem aati hai wo bhi lube krne pr chali jaati hai. And if you are planning to buy meteor then go for it bro after having it almost 3 years still finds reason's to go for a ride. Hope you got your ans.

J series engines are fuel injected and not carburetor based, thats why kick is not needed.
Most meteor owners say problem with fuel gauge.
I've interceptor 650 and I also have the same problem 😂.
I owned a thunderbird for 7yrs b4 it and it also had the same problem 😂.

Headlights sure feel little weak on highways. But no issue in normal city rides. Extra foggs can easily fix this issue.

I own a meteor, I have done long ride also of 2000 km, front mudguard, rear mudguard, battery box cover, tool box cover, all are plastic fiber, sitting position and handle position is not of a cruiser bike , rear tyre is of poor quality, gets puncture very faster. Headlight is of poor quality. Engine get heated very fast, torque is less , it's does not have power which it should have being 350 cc bike.

if ur spending so much for a bike why dont you refill ur bike, the comment mentioned regarding low fuel indication is to prevent you from damaging the fuel ignition system, if have seen many who had splendor 100 cc bikes where they have this mentality to drain the tank till the last drop of fuel even tilting the bike so the last drop of fuel goes into the carburetor and then drag the bike to a petrol station hahahaha ...stupidity ...this bike doesn't have a carburetor it has a EFI ( electronic fuel ignition ) which is expensive if it gets spoilt ( it gets spoilt if there is no fuel ) better to fill fuel than send more on repairing , concept is EFI stores fuel in its sump and also takes time to calculate less fuel in the tank hence as a safety feature it warns u less fuel.....splendor or 100 cc buying enfield will never understand

I hv ordered my meteor 350 but i dont like the exhaust pipe because it's not chrom...so i want the classic crom exhaust can it be fitted??

Been using meteor 350, the only problem I have is the tank gets scratched quickly so PPF protection is very important.
DRLs are not for looks they remain on during day light so the vehicle can be spotted easily from the opposite direction.
Head lamps could have been better, at night u will not get enough confidence to push.
