- I thought I was excited about the Mezco One:12 Collective Red Skull with the black trenchcoat. I snagged the pre-order up quick. Then when the classic green jumpsuit con exclusive version went up I thought "Might as well." I had no clue I would love it as much as I do. This is now the one to beat and I'll just wait and see how the modern version turns out.

Nice use of the Storm Collectibles Scorpion/Noob Saibot flame effect! Just seeing those shots made me instantly want classic Cap and this Skull!
Yeah, this coming actually made me pull the trigger on the classic Cap. They knew that would happen too, sly dogs.
Action figure perfection. Love that face it so accurate with the 60's cartoons. The only thing that falls short is the Teseract.
Yup, the Cosmic Cube is really the only thing I can gripe about, looks-wise. Everything else is just so well-done it hurts. In a good way.
I sikipped the classic Skull because I wasn't a fan of the classic looking Cap but I'm regretting this now. It really looks fantastic.

Yeah, it makes me so nostalgic. When I picture Red Skull in my head, it looks exactly like this.
As a Transformer collector,& Hasbro not what they used to be, we deal with loose joints *ALL THE TIME, NOW!* ... *SO* the trick is to coat the ball joint in a nice coat of CLEAR floor polish. There are certain brands ppl like, but I found out because they discontinued those brands here in both NH & VT in 2013, that it's just clear floor polish that works. You just put on a thin coat over ball, attach & work the joint til it dries. Therefore creating a second layer. It specifically workson balljoint especially. Hope that helps for the foot prob.

Yeah, the foot shouldn't be a biggie. And yeah, I think I took a quick look at that cap during a Figure or Fodder. I love that damn thing.
I passed on this one at NYCC and now I kinda regret it. Looks incredible. Good review, dude!

The Fwoosh Haha, the amount of money I spent there was obscene so let’s just move on...lol. My money for him went to their Punisher because it’s been sold out everywhere and sky high on eBay, and they found a case while packing for the con-inside info, lol. So I switched gears because I REALLY wanted a Frank. Next year, dude, make plans to come, it’s fantastic. Lots of events in and around it, too. Toys, comics, beers, etc.
Okay, getting Punisher instead is totally understandable, I have a feeling that Red Skull will be easier to get than Frank down the road. Hell, I bought one before I was even into the line at the urging of a buddy and I'm sooooo glad I did. Even if I haven't opened it yet. Yeah, I hear good things, and I'm a con junkie, gotta catch them all. May give Toy Fair a go in Febuary to get a lay of the land and then try to do NYCC in the Fall. This country mouse Southern boy has only been to DC, no other areas of the North. It'd be interesting.

Looks great, have not got any Mezco figures, but this looks brilliant. As you;ve said, the heads looks brilliant, clearly they're red, so no issues with skin/flesh tone not being great, but still, the detail in the eyes is great

The more that come out, the harder it will get. I suggest a Deadpool. Just go for it.
Thinking about waiting for the Bats or Supes. Maybe both. I know for sure I need Bats, not 100% sold on Supes yet.

It's the completely sewn in body, I can't see where to go, I'm too used to non-cloth figures still. I'm kind of afraid I'm going to over-extend or try to bend something the wrong way. Not a bad thing, just getting used to it.
The head sculpt is worth the purchase alone. I'm just waiting on the trenchcoat version to be released, then I might have to go back & grab one of the Caps. Dammit, Mezco >_>
I know what you mean because of this I went and had to get the classic Mezco Cap.
You guys hit the same reason I grabbed the Cap. Knew Skull was coming, had to have someone for him to display with. It's a deep dark hole.
This is such a cool figure , especially with the flame thrower , still waiting on my trench coat REd skull wish they would hurry up ! Don't know if I said this before or not, but we need mezco star wars figures ! Hail Hydra, Hail Mr Fwoosh the great bearded one ! .

Nice to see you get this, sucks to be waiting on wolverine though especially when I woke up real early to snag one immediately, but to wait all this time after everyone got theirs at NYCC :/

Haha, I'm right there with you. I set the alarm to grab Wolverine, ordered, went back to bed. So weird they get the allotment for NYCC and then it takes this long to get the rest. But it looks to be worth it!

This figure completely surpassed my expectations, especially after being so disappointed with classic Superman. This Red Skull incorporates everything I love about comic books, action figures, and Mezco. He's an evil dude with a red skull, a green jumpsuit, and a tank full of combustible liquids strapped to his back. Phenomenal release.

They are from the Storm Collectibles Mortal Kombat Scorpion. After some frustration I finally got them to stay in place!

Yeah, when I get something like this I get so excited that I forget about how hard it was to get, or how limited it was in numbers and/or shipping restrictions.

So why they come out one every 2 months it feels like it's because they want thing perfect but also because if they release things consistently then they will have no money to make after everything is sold. That's why exclusives exist so it gives us time to save money and improve sells so they can do more
I think I got a figure before you did! Just picked up the one:12 wolverine. First one:12 Collective figure, and I must say: I'm very impressed! The cloth has a good feel to it, and I'm happy that there's a fully sculpted body underneath. Is the Wolverine one you're going to get?
I got the Tiger Stripe Wolvie when it released but I haven't opened it yet. I have no clue why. Good to hear it's nice though!
The Fwoosh I've got the regular release, but I can't imagine that the tiger striped is any less of a figure. Though the Muramasa blade is awesome.
I saw the brown Wolvie at a Vintage Stock in Joplin and nearly pulled the trigger, then thought, I haven't even opened the other, haha. I'll probably regret not grabbing it.
The Fwoosh I might try to track down the tiger stripe, my X-Men will always be the animated series from the 90s (aka Jim Lee). Even X-Force Wolverine looks great! Though I'm not all in on the Mezco stuff yet. They've got me for Wolverine. Now I want an X-23, in all her glory. X-Force, All New X-MEN, and of course, All New All Different Wolverine!

The one on the nozzle came from the Marvel Legends Sunfire and the shooting one came from the Storm Collectibles Mortal Kombat Scorpion.

The one over the nozzle is from a Marvel Legends Iron Fist, but I think it also comes with Sunfire and Human Torch. The shooting flame came with the Storm Collectibles Mortal Kombat Scorpion.

I always make a trip through what's available for pre-order when I get on of these and I've passed on Old Man Logan several times. I don't know, it may be because I haven't read anything with him in it or I see it as just a civilian Wolverine, but I can't do it. That may be different once I get the tiger stripe Wolverine in hand, hopefully soon. Maybe I could take the trench off and put the unmasked head from yellow and get a classic civilian Logan?
I would love to have this fig, but not paying the price. I paid top dollar to get the tiger stripe Wolvie, but he is my all time fav character wearing my all time favorite costume. Even then, the 277 I paid still hurts.

The effect over the barrel is from the Marvel Legends Sunfire, and the shooting out effect came with the Storm Collectibles Mortal Kombat Scorpion.

Whoa....it does. I would have never thought to try it if you hadn't asked. THAT'S why it looks like it does.
Heat up the shoulders with a hair dryer and problem solved. That's what I did
And it doesn't mess with the cloth? You heated through the suit?
Yeah The Fwoosh through the suit. Of course moving the hair dryer around. Mine got loose enough not to be a problem man. I did it from the top an the back. Far away from the arm band as I could tho. If you try it let me know how it works !
