Started using gtechniq products 4 years ago .. my car cleaning cupboard is nearly full of their products ...

What do you advise for cleaning and protecting alcantara? I’m guessing tri-clean to cleanse but what about protection?

We would recommend cleaning with Tri-Clean first and then applying Smart Fabric. As the Alcantara pile is significantly shorter, just use a smaller amount of product, so not to oversaturate the area.
