David Draiman...a voice to die for. A powerful yet soulful voice that can go from warm baritone to angelic tenor, from clear as a crystal to vocal fry/rasp/distortion and back on a dime. He has a timbre in his voice that I've never heard before.....just hauntingly beautiful tonal properties to it! An awesome talent. Loved your reaction Gio!
This song calls me back constantly. When I first heard it, I thought " WHAT have I just heard ? ". In.my opinion, it is a masterpiece. With Mr Draiman 's rich, velvety voice, gradually building up to a crescendo of rage and despair with the help of the orchestrals. I cried like a baby, and often still do on hearing it again. This was written by Paul Simon. Performed by him and Art Garfunkel in 1963. This cover IMHO is by far the best cover. The live version is absolutely fabulous. David the lead vocalist of Disturbed has such a unique voice and it really fits this song to a tee! Great reaction!

I reckon drums were probably the first things humans, or even proto-humans came up with and the overriding power here suggests something older than humanity itself.
