Thomas in Trouble!

Thomas has a very unpleasant meeting with the new constable. Over the fact that he couldn't catch any cows.... :P

Yes, my first ever adaptation of a Thomas story using railworks. I've always liked this story, (you can tell, I've already used the cowcatcher law as a plot point in my own story :P).
Well how did this begin, I was going to do a James the Red Engine story as my first Thomas Railworks outing, (still to come ;). But I chose to do this because I thought why not! (that's how I do most things in life).
So after asking George (Sodorsnwrsteam) to supply the narration (and getting a very quick and excited response!). I set to work.
I had already decided that this would be my first project where I attempted to do moving eyes. Matt (G.W. Shunter) kindly taught me how to do that in Vegas, over a year ago. Only using it now. (I never did have good timing.)
But I already hit a bump, railworks doesn't have any models for policeman (just a car). So at first I was thinking of just using the excuse that, he was an undercover cop. Until I got a much better idea.
Inspired by the way Dan (tardisrecue) does quirky little animations of people in his stories. (pouring the tea in Tetley being the one that sticks out in my mind). And with how most people use TVS screenshots of people in their videos. I thought, why not try (albeit very crudely) animating the RWS illustrations. Bring them to life if you will.
It sounded fun and interesting, and best of all I don't think anyone had ever tried it before. (please correct me if I'm wrong). Plus I thought it would have the same unique charm that the original Paddington Bear cartoon used to have. (A 3D Paddington, but 2D cut out people.)
So that's the story behind this adaptation. I thought I'd wing it, and then it snowballed into a bigger project than Return to Steam. :D
I have to say I really enjoyed making this, twas a lot of fun. I can only hope that you guys enjoy watching it. (also stay through the credits if you want to hear more of George) ;)
