Yeah SE2 are great! it had the same processor as the series 8 and ultra so the longevity are the same with lower price and it had all the features i needed.
Even though I like the always on display, I got a brand new SE2 from Target for $219.99, and I don’t need the temperature/blood/oxygen sensors AT ALL to justify the paying almost $200 more for a very slightly smaller screen. For $100 extra you get a way larger screen on an iPhone 14 vs iPhone 14 plus (that is a reasonable value for a larger screen).
I got the 8 solely for the AOD. If Apple were to make an SE with the AOD, I would be more than happy with it. If you want fast charging and the AOD, series 8 is the way to go.

Watch the video, the whole interface is the same, there is nothing about starters or pros, it is just about the features, and it is good enough for most users. What makes the Series 8 something for "advanced" users? Just the AOD, ECG and Blood Oxygen sensor? Please, those are just additional features, nothing advanced... Trust me, I am no starter in Smart Watches, being using them since 2018, and I found the SE2 is a very good Deal considering its price and all the amazing and very functional features, good for anyone...
As an prior owner of the series 3, moving to the series 8, I think the feature I couldn’t live without now is the always on display. Makes using the watch so much more convenient
@@SanjayFrank11it’s really convenient when you’re driving because it’s the shortest glance as compared to looking to your infotainment screen or your phone even if you have it on a mount, and you don’t need to take your hand off the steering wheel to wake up the watch screen 😊 of course, that is debatable if you have an infotainment system with a voice assistant that can tell you the time without ever taking your eyes off the road at all
@@marcoslopez_ that definitely works as well, depending on the screen of your radio. Mine shows the time on the upper right side in very small size so it is very distracting to check the time while driving 🥲

Got the SE2 recently... Has everything I need, and I say it as someone coming from a Samsung Galaxy Watch with a lot of features, the SE2 is good enough for most users. The Series 8, now the 9, is really cool, but for the price I am very sure I would be not using most of the features it offers, especially the ECG and Blood Oxygen meter... Always On Screen, cool but not a fan of that, I like my watch to not call other's attention, I like my watch showing info on the screen only when I want to see it. So far, I am very happy with my SE2, considering all the great smart watch I got for was less than 300 bucks.
For me always on display is important & the added sensor.. also instead of having a more expensive luxury mechanical watch vs apple watch 8 I will pick the apple watch 8 anytime any day.. I am now selling my watch collection & will start to use my apple watch 8 daily so for me it is wiser to pick the apple watch 8 but apple watch se 2 is no doubt a bang for a buck..

The Apple Watch hasn’t changed one bit since the 3 lol. GPS, water resistant, music, heart rate monitor, cellular, Apple Pay. It’s literally the exact same Watch. How have the made 8 editions of the exact same thing?
I love my SE2 Don’t need any of the blood/oxygen features, don’t really care for that. I don’t need always on display because it takes just a twist of the wrist to look at the time 🙄 I don’t need a keyboard on my watch cuz I text on my phone like everyone does And the faster charging is just not enough. It’s just something Apple says every year to make you buy the new product

Yes you can take calls on the GPS watch but only when your phone is in Bluetooth range
