The issues can be overloading if you put the load to heavy on extra high spin it will explode if its heavy put low spin
I have an earlier model washer. It seems like these are the same except for Samsung gave this model a face lift. I've also taken mine apart just to clean it so I know how it goes together.
I can tell you that the 4 spring loaded suspension rods are not held in by anything more than an indent in the metal. They just slide into the groove and sit there. I can DEFINITELY see them popping off their "perch" if the load is off balance during the spin cycle. If that happens the tub will shake all over the place as the drum spins inside it and this will happen.
Im not an expert by any means, but this makes the most sense when I picture it in my head. I'm actually curious which sensor told the washer to stop the cycle and shut down.

I have an LG Steam Washer and Dryer set, and if something goes wrong with it, will not be buying another brand new set ever again. I will be going back to the old school Kenmore washer and dryer from the 70's or 80's, exactly like my grandparents had when I was a little kid.

My parents have a Kenmore which is a rebadged Whirlpool Oasis from 2009 that is still going strong but, has a little bit of rust.
Maybe this is a sign that we should start making our own washing machines again and say the hell to this imported crap.

I have the exact same washer that I got at Lowes within the last 6-8 months. It has not exploded but I will tell you that when it spins on the last cycle to get the final rinse water out it gets up to NASCAR revs and the clothes get so super-spun dry they stick together like semi-dry cardboard. I have a feeling this is what's happening: the last spin cycle gets too many revs and if the dryer is just the least off-balanced I think the tub lets go. If this washing machine had been built by Telsa Motors , they could have just downloaded software via wi-fi to straighten out the revs at the end. :>)
I balanced mine with a two-foot level on all angles and shimmed accordingly. I'm talking to Lowes to see what they recommend.

I am glad our Samsung is a front loader, but it still sucks we haven't had it more than 8 months and it is broken down! We are on week 2 with no washer the repairman is not sure of the issue! Don't buy a Samsung unless you just like the laundromat!!!
If Samsung makes a plane, we all know where this will go.
If so they would probably buy McDonnell Douglas from Boeing (don't ask how just role with it) and remake the DC-10

did she read the instructions Or she put too much clothes try to save money. I own the Samsung but had recall serial number. .mine have been a year no problem. I believe some people just pack up their clothes to the top. according what the Sears sale lady told me .you always leave room for washer. control the spin speed depend what you wash. not always use fast spin speed.

This just happened this morning, 08 22 16, to my son's Samsung Washer!!!!! It damaged walls and a nearby freezer!!! Fortunately, no one was in the room at the time but it scared everyone in the house at the time. Samsung is paying for repairs but someone could be injured by flying debris!!! I don't know why Samsung is not doing recalls!!! They know this is happening!!!

Does it matter if the parts are made in China? If so, SamSung would hired them and then overpriced their phone at $1,100+ USD (and overpriced other SamSung products). Because they like to take our money.

Great my samsung washer we got 4-5 years ago just did this, not quite as bad. I thought someone had killed themselves on the stairs trying to rob my place because I was home alone.

When getting a new washer get a GE
Whirlpool used to be good until they stop making their direct drive washer. The new belt drives now use cheap electronic controls. The only good brand of washers and dryers made today is Speed Queen.
