North Carolina/Michigan St was the first meeting since 2017 which Michigan St overwhelmed UNC in a 63-45 game.
I had Alabama as the wildcard in this region because they infamously beat UNC in a 4OT game back in November 2022.
Clemson previously lost in the first round to Rutgers (2021) and that same season, they beat Alabama on a neutral court in Atlanta.

The Regionals dont start until the second weekend. That is when they will play in Los Angeles. The first/second rounds are played at other neutral sites throughout the country.

Carolina should not be a number one seed. If they had won the ACC championship, yes. But they lost to a team that wasn't even going into the tournament, as well as losing to 3 other teams that did not make the tournament. Politics as usual.

@@CAM8689 They have same record as Carolina and crushed no. 1 seed Houston to win their conference championship. Carolina's out of conference schedule was no better. They dropped 3, Villanova, Kentucky, and Connecticut. Put Carolina as a 2 seed, they are done by the second round. And the NCAA tournament is about how teams are playing now, not 2 months ago.
@@rizzo9197 UNC ooc was def better and clearly you didnt hear the the ncaa guy speak on the criteria he made it a point to say that the entire schedule matters from the first game to the last.....not some recency bias...

In the West Region, without a doubt I definitely hope that Michigan State defeats Mississippi State and I also hope that either Howard or Wagner defeats North Carolina to help Michigan State a lot better on their chances of going really far in the tournament!!! I hope Grand Canyon and Charleston also finally get past the first round this year!!! I also hope that Colgate finally gets past the first round this year same with Long Beach State hoping they finally get past the first round this year!!!

I’m grateful those Doping Oregon Ducks are a low seed in the Tournament! Despite them winning the final Pac 12 Tournament! I do hope my Colorado Buffaloes can make it as far as the Sweet 16 for the first time since 1969. But my biggest prayer! If nothing else! That those Doping Oregon Ducks lose to the South Carolina Gamecocks & go home afterwords. Oregon shouldn’t even be in a Post Season to begin with. They should be BANNED. Because of how they dope their athletes. Besides! It was already bad enough their American Football Program win the Fiesta Bowl when they should’ve been banned for their doping. This US is already going to be without my support internationally during this year’s Summer Olympics in Paris because of their American Football Program winning the Fiesta Bowl because of their doping ways. But if they lose in the first round to South Carolina in the first round! This will be a slight start to things going in the right direction. I want to be proud to call this US my home again. But I know I can’t if those doping Ducks keep winning & making those fair playing colleges a victim of them & their Performance Enhancing Drugs.
