The 'drummer' is Marcus Pierce better later known as writer and personality Lance Leopard, known at this time as 'Marco.' Not sure he ever actually played the drums...but anyway. The singer is Clyde now known as Zhian. Lance tragically died in a house fire with his mother, this year.
I am obsessed with this song now. How do I go about getting a nice clean download of it in the US. The video version is quite garbled and bad quality...but good enough to know that I LOVE IT!!!

Twenty something years on and i still get a chuckle out of them. They injected a dreary town with some bezzerk fun and the joke was on anyone taking it seriously. I actually think they were more influenced by Dynasty then Grace Jones. THE MEGAMEN ROCK !

Yes they were real. They were a group that only were around from about 1982-1984 and this was their only single. They supported every major act that came through the state of Queensland at that time.

It can't be a MISUSE of "Megamen," not only because it's a different word/title than "Mega Man" but also because they were the ones that came up with it. Hell, even in Japan "Rock Man" hadn't been dubbed yet. They suck, I wouldn't argue that, but did they really fuck up your day? I favorited this so I could come back and have a laugh when I'm *having* a bad day.
