Understandable brother. This channel has a good video about that. I felt like I knew the strategies I had to use, but I kept giving into lust, until I laid on my face before God and truly repented (even as a long time Christian). I didn't fully rely on Him to overcome this, I was angry at some things, and I let doubts into my mind. I let go of these things and asked God to help me. It's been different now, I'm disciplining myself not to look and desire, to stop thoughts, and not stay home for a long time. I'm choosing to hate the things of lust and to run. And I'm still going to meet with my pastor and be accountable, because I won't trust my flesh. Serious matters take serious measures. You can be victorious if you really want to. God bless!

1 Corinthians 10:13 says "The temptations in your life are no different from what others experience. And God is faithful. He will not allow the temptation to be more than you can stand. When you are tempted, he will show you a way out so that you can endure." As someone who kept falling into sexual sin, the strategies we share are the very ones we used.

Idk if this is much help but I would recommend reading about where the disciples were called from in the 4 Gospels. For example, Matthew was a tax collector and they were really disliked and yet Jesus denied all of the "standards of society" and called Matthew to follow him. If you seek Jesus while on this earth my friend trust me he will not reject you in any shape or form that you're in. Jesus died on the cross for sinners and the rejected and poor and even Jesus was rejected alot of the times, even by his own hometown! So don't be afraid to seek Jesus or come into his presence at anytime! He's willing to take you just as you are and change you through your repentance and denying yourself to follow him! Confess your sins before Jesus and trust me he will not reject you. If, he died an sinners death on a cross just for you, what makes you think he will ever reject an genuine, broken, and repentant soul coming to him? Hope that helps and God Bless you friend❤

I also am confused and also obsessed about knowing what God wants me to do for him, and internally I crave an answer, a confirmation sort of speak, so I can harden my future path and redirection in life, cuz I understand that no matter what my passions and future life plans are, they won't be taking me into Heaven! Therefore I feel like I'm stuck in between and that gives me headaches and thats when I'm feeling to excuse myself for continuing walking in the faith, meaning avoiding sin! My sins "according to me" aren't that grave or big, but I'm sure God thinks different. I've accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior back in 2011. I'm 32 years old now! Sometimes around people as I glance at them I get this urge to talk with them about God and what they think about the afterlife etc.

Salvation is NOT by turning from sins! The simple good news is that Jesus Christ Is The Christ, The Son of God, Savior of the World who promises eternal life once you believe on Jesus Christ alone. Dauzq De you can’t do anything to save your self. Meaning that no amount of works will get you in heaven because only the lord himself cal get you in heaven. Because he’s the one that saved you. But what this part means is that if you are truly saved you would want to try to please god more and repent of your sins and confess to him. Yes we all make mistakes but we also have to make sure we don’t become lukewarm Christians or sin then not feel bad about it.

Im trying so hard to live like Jesus. I repented of my sins but I still get tempted. I believe in Jesus Christ. He died for all of our sins on the cross so that we may be saved. I will keep going.
Today I’ve learned a lot about the end times and developing a relationship with God and now I’m beginning to realize things I haven’t known before. I will not be lazy and God is my best friend who loves me so much. He Leads my life and guides me through tough times, and even sent His only son Jesus Christ to die on the cross for me. We’re supposed to go to hell and burn for eternity for our sins but God loves us so much that He gave us a FREE gift of salvation and forgiveness. I always read my Bible and pray right before I go to bed, but it’s lazy and I’m motivated to finish because I just want to go sleep. It’s summer break, I have no school, so this is my chance to make a change in my life! I will prepare myself for the rapture and I will stand by God and Jesus’ side. I’ll do whatever it takes, even if it means giving up my own life. Thank you God for loving me so much and answering my prayers, and I know He will do the same for you :D

You receive graces from it and personally it gives me peace.So there are 4 mysteries, or the things that we focus on when we pray. They are the joyful, sorrowful, glorious, and luminous. Each day of the week is a specific mystery. To pray the rosary we say the Apostles Creed (a short prayer) an Our Father, 3 Hail Marys, and a Glory Be. Then within the Mysteries there are 5 things that we focus on. For example the sorrowful the first thing we focus on is the Agony in the Garden when Jesus prayed before he was betrayed by Judas and giving to the Jewish Priests. For the Agony in the Garden, we would say an Our Father, 10 Hail Marys, and a Glory Be. Then you repeat this for the 4 other things that we focus on within the mystery. When u finish this there are 2 short prayers. Overall it takes about 20-25 minutes. It May sound confusing but its really not haha. Rosary Center. Org walks through it really nice! If u go to their site and hit how to pray the Rosary u can read abt it of just scroll down, find what that days Mystery is, and hit the Mystery, it has everything you need there. ❤️

i struggle with porn addiction and i try to stop but some days I let go and watch it and when i do I feel terrible and I ask for forgiveness but then i just do it again please pray for me and help me find the strength to stop

no one is to judge you we have all struggled with list sexual sin I suggest looking up a video by John bevere on his testimony how he overcame porn addiction , also when tempted ask the Holy Spirit to strengthen you maybe get up and put on some praise and worship music when the devil tried temping Jesus he responded with it is written so maybe start memorieing some scriptures to help overcome God bless and know there are people out there who do care God bless

I can totally relate. Honestly I just try to live the best way Jesus would want me to. I read my Bible everyday and I do a kind of bible study. This way I get a little God in everything I do. Also I pray and ask god for forgiveness and guidance.

I'm saved because He Himself has done it *all.* From chosing me, to atoning for my sin, to justifying me, to imputing His rightousness to me, to sanctifying me, to perfecting my faith, to interceding for me as the Great High Priest, to raising me up from the dead and giving me a new imperishable body.
I'd be lying if I said I got saved because I "did" something. He alone gets ALL the glory and only He can boast about saving me.

Notice that Hebrews 5:9 doesn't say: "He becomes the author of eternal salvation of those who have obeyed Him." Instead it says: "He *became* (past tense) the author of eternal salvation to those who obey (present) Him." That means that those who currently obey are those who got saved.

Jesus was praying to the Father because God the Son (Jesus) became *incarnate,* meaning He put some of His attributes aside for a while (Hebrews 2:9, 2 Corinthians 8:9) to become a *human.* Jesus was both fully God (Colossians 2:9) and fully man. 2. Jesus is called a prophet because it was prophesied in the Old Testament (Deuteronomy 18:15-19) a prophet greater than Moses would came after him. (Note: There are more prophecies regarding Jesus other than just being a prophet, such as Jesus as King, Messiah, Son of Man, Righteous Son, Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace, the Stump of Jesse, the Seed of the Woman, etc.). Jesus was God and Prophet at the same time because He Himself spoke the word of God saying "I say to you." Jesus is much greater than Moses because:
- Whereas Moses was sent to deliver the nation of Israel out of physical slavery in Egypt, Jesus was sent to deliver people from all nations out of spiritual slavery to sin in their hearts (Matthew 1:21).
- Whereas Moses only spoke the words he received from God, Jesus came as the very Word of God who declared, “I say to you” (Matthew 5:21-22ff) and it simply was God’s words.
- Whereas Moses came as a recipient of the Law, Jesus came to fulfill the Law (Matthew 5:17).
- Whereas Moses’ face shined with the reflection of the heavenly glory he had seen, Jesus’ shined like the sun with His own divine glory (Matthew 17:2).
- Whereas Moses mediated temporarily between God and man by the Law, Jesus mediates eternally between God and man by the shedding of His own blood (Hebrews 7:11-28).
3. Jesus is the only one who has seen the Father because they are one, 3 in 1. Similar to us, we have a body and a soul, and yet we are ONE. Jesus said no one has seen the Father except Himself, since that's true, that means Moses saw Jesus Himself (Exodus 33:11). Also let Jesus speak for Himself:
- Jesus said these two things in the same passage: "I and the Father are one (John 10:30);" "Know and understand that the Father is in me and I am in the Father (John 10:38)."
- John 1:18
- John 6:46
4. When you referenced Matthew 15:9 you probably didn't realize Jesus was actually quoting the words of God in Isaiah 29:13. If you show consistency in your words, you would have to say what you said about Jesus. Let me quote you: " he did the opposite and disapproved anyone worshipping him: "And in vain they worship me." (Matthew 15:9) but now you have to say the exact same thing about God because those were the words of God in Isaiah. You demand that if Jesus were God He would have to say "worship Me" verbatim, but it's interesting how that God never says that verbatim in the Old Testament either. Why? Because He wants our love, and love by definition is voluntary and cannot be forced. That's why He allowed us to sin in the Garden of Eden, because free will is the only thing that makes love possible.
This is what C.S. Lewis said in his book Mere Christianity:
- "Why, then, did God give them free will? Because free will, though it makes evil possible, is also the only thing that makes possible any love or goodness or joy worth having" (Pg. 48).
- "The happiness which God designs for His higher creatures is the happiness of being freely, voluntarily united to Him and to each other in an ecstasy of love and delight compared with which the most rapturous love between a man and a woman on this earth is mere milk and water. And for that they must have free [will]" (Pg. 48).

Only God knows a person. He knows what they have been through, he knows their heart, their mental condition, the baggage they carry, why they do the things that they do or do not do and their relationship with him. And it is God who will decide who belongs to him. And of course Jesus is the way to God.

Christians are going to appear before the judgment seat of Christ according to 2 Corinthians 5:10, and 1 Corinthians 3:10-15 clearly states that during this Judgment seat you're going to get into heaven but you'll be losing your eternal rewards if you lived a life of disobedience. (This is supposedly after the Rapture.)
Also, Galatians 2:21 states: I do not set aside the grace of God, for if righteousness could be gained through the law, Christ died for nothing!
And Romans 4:4-5: Now to him that worketh is the reward not reckoned of grace, but of debt.

@@alexgilliss I’ve realized the most sure way to know (even though only God truly knows who are and who aren’t saved) is to see their fruits, are they leading others to Christ?, are they being like Christ?, or do they just claim to be Christians but never truly do anything to show that they are truly saved, “salvation without works is dead” I don’t mean works as in work to get to heaven, cause that’s not posible, I mean the way to tell if someone is saved is to see the works they do because they have already saved. Sadly some of my family members are in the forward, which makes me sad and hurt, but don’t lose hope keep on praying for your family.

None of us are good enough to go to heaven. By right, we deserve death because as Scripture says the wages (the price) of sin is death. If we had to get to heaven based on our goodness no one would get there because we are all sinful and deserving of eternal damnation. However, because God loves us so much he sent Jesus his son to die for us therefore paying our debt. All we have to do now is to repent (genuinely ask God for forgiveness) of our sins and accept him into our hearts. After that we strive to daily love for God and do his works of serving Him, ministering to others, and following his commandments. When you sin, which you will even as a Christian, you have to repent and ask him for forgiveness. His blood will cover that sin so that when you stand before Him on Judgment Day even though you are not good and even though you made mistakes because you made a choice to accept Him you will enter the kingdom of Heaven. If our goodness could get us to Heaven, there would have been no point in Jesus having to die for us.

hi, i'm a 18 year old Christian and can say that praying is everthing. I've had SO so so many days where i really do not wanted to read my bible and thats totally ok. Talking to him like he is my invisible friend has helped me the most. and at some point in your life you want to read your bible everyday, because you cannot live with out it. But till then, wait and be patient, maybe following some Christian Instagramer to give you daily encouragement. If reading the bible/listen to worship music feels like doing homework or doing a thing on your to-do list, it is not the right thing. As i said, the time will come where you'll be so on fire for him. I personally am not at this point right now, but i'm on the right path. Be patient and listen to his voice. Sending lots of love:)

I was totally religious as a kid, but when I turned about 12 I became an atheist. Then I went to a catholic high school where I learned about religion and am now fully accepting of god as my creator and Jesus as my savior

Last week, i promise to pray between 2 and 4 AM and next time , i will extend this time for a half day. And then for a full day.

I believe when The Lord said “ make every effort to enter through The narrow door” means.
1. We know Jesus is The door and only door.
2. If a person is outside and not yet in, it’s pretty clear that person is Unsaved.
3. When he says make every effort or (agonize) he referring to The Christian life being a life of self discipline, denying yourself.
I believe The Lord is saying make every effort to Repent of your sins and Trust him accepting his invitation to come inside the door while confirming that the Christian life is not easy life

It’s the scariest thought. Where you’re young to spend for an eternity scares almost everyone. But we have to try our best to spread this. I can’t imagine all my loved ones not being with me in heaven. We have to keep spreading because at any time, Jesus can come, and we have to be sure everyone we love and care about goes to heaven.

SALVATION:
To clarify the gospel of our salvation: Our gospel that saves us today is to believe that Jesus died on the cross, shedding His blood, was buried and rose from the dead for the forgiveness of our sins. I Cor 15:1-4. That's step one. Step two: We must put our trust in this gospel for the forgiveness of our sins and nothing else, to be saved. It's that simple. Jesus did the work necessary for our salvation. We cannot. Paul puts it this way:
Eph 1:13 In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,
True salvation only comes when we believe that Jesus is our ALL SUFFICENT SAVIOR. We cannot add anything to His blood shed and work of salvation on the cross for the forgiveness of our sins.
We are not saved by repenting (turning from sin), being baptized in water, walking an aisle, saying a prayer, confessing with your mouth, being “born again”, or following Jesus’ earthly ministry. Those are mostly "works" salvation. We are saved by grace, not works (Rom 11:6), through faith alone, in Christ work on the cross. It is a gift 100%.

Titus 3:5-6, I Cor 15:1-4
Rom 5:8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
He came to save sinners, not people trying to make themselves righteous by doing some kind of good work, getting wet or turning from their sins, they cannot do totally anyway.
Simply believe and put your trust in the new gospel Jesus gave to Paul for us today to be saved by. Then start reading Rom - Phil to understand what was written to us the body of Christ, so we could know what God wants from us and who we are in Christ, once we are saved. The books Paul wrote are the only place we find the gospel that saves us today. Then read the rest of your bible that is FOR us but not TO and ABOUT us. 94% of the bible is TO and ABOUT Israel, yes Israel. Don’t steal their mail and try to make it yours. And don’t be fooled by people who tell you, you need to do some good work to be saved or to stay saved or to prove that you are saved. That is not the gospel for us today which is a free gift of GRACE when we believe and trust in what Jesus did on the cross for our sins.

I have been baptized and I’ve been trying to full commit my life to god and I’ve been read the Bible just recently and I’ve prayed when I’ve been scared anxious or worried and I always keep him in my thought my mom and I and big Christans and my mom is fully whole heartily a follower of Christ because of experiencing him always being with her! God bless you Allen. I was raised in a very legalistic church that left me feeling salvation was out of reach for me. (Saved by works kinda thing ). I was saved by our Lord about 4 years ago and it literally changed my life. Talk about a new creation! I went my entire adult life being unchurched and living a very sinful life. Now I worship multiple times weekly. Do home study and worship. Serve my congregation. Not out of obligation but out of gratitude for the Lords saving grace. The world needs more teachers like you. I’m shy as well, but a big help that was brought to me through scripture is to not rely on our own strength. If you’ve been born by the Spirit (through baptism), the Spirit lives in you and will work for you. The only thing you need to do is let go. I really hope this helps! God bless you ❤️❤️❤️

As a 13 year old child you shouldn't be worrying about this stuff. Teaching kids that Hell is real is abusive....don't worry.
Honestly try not to worry about heaven and trust in God. Just love the lord and read the word of God.
