the main objective of the lack of grip of Molten in general is to prevent players from gripping the ball when we shoot, but to use our palms. It's designed for Asian players who don't have large hands.
i might have to refer people to watch your reviews. alot of people asked me about outdoor balls but my channel is mainly focus on indoor balls. anyway, keep up with the good work bro.
Hey yall, this is a nice to know info, if you are considering to buy this BG3800, I would recommend to save it for =BG3850=, it is an upgrade version, the only difference is the cover, it is tacky whcih maintains nice grip, and the new cover is softer in comparison with BG3800.
thanks for the video, I bought one and it is small. it is closer to a size 6 than a size 7 even though it says size 7. 29". Very disappointed that it is not regulation size and scared me off of purchasing a BG4500 or BG5000 for indoor use.
Great review just got mine in mail.. got my first FIBA ball in philippines 2005-06. Then got gm7x FIBA ball 2019 , now got this gem in the mail pumped it to 7.5psi I know it Says 7.25- 8.70. ? What psi do u pump ur balls to I like to be exact so I know what I’m holding and for longevity of ball hopefully.. yes enter me in the raffle wouldn’t mind haven a double of this ball.. can’t wait to go to the park with my son to break it in
The only difference I can guess at is that the 4000 must have slightly better, more expensive material that it’s made out of. The ratio of leather to rubber must be higher in the 4000 than the 3800.
Any other recommended basketballs? I know the evolution ball is good but my friend has it and we play at least once a week so i’d like some difference in basketballs. If that makes sense
Spalding Legacy TF100 is what I play with too. I have the Wilson Evolution too. They're both good balls. I would say the TF1000 has better grip but the Evolution has a softer touch. Great to switch from one another when I feel like playing with a different ball.
Ive been using it for almost a year on painted concrete didnt even change orange panels are amazing white panels aren’t peeling off but they have a couple of scratches onem
Dude, use the BG4500 indoors, don't make a mistake like the people who use the Wilson Evolution and the New TF1000 Precision ball outdoors. Big mistake to make. You can use the BG3800 both indoors and out, just don't get dirt on the BG3800.
Molten is Known to almost anyone, if you have a local sports store you should be able to get one in person. What’s your impression of the BG3800? Ball up!
I've been using this ball on outdoor courts for the past 4 months and I love it. The sweatier your hands, the better the grip!
Gotta love that about quality composite basketballs. 👍🏼
In what form is it after playing with it 4 months? Cause I m wondering if i can take mine outdoors
@@polskigolab_9486 It was good for a year and then it started leaking air so I had to replace it.
Thanks for the update.

Thanks for letting us know👍🏼
No problem and tried to review the Wilson autentic Nba ball the composite leather
For price is it worthy
i never have it because it's hard to buy it online but i think it's ok because of your reviews
Molten basketball are out of stocks here in Philippines. And beware buying online there is so manny fake and replica out there

At the end did u feel any grip loose
The grip stayed consistent.
@@StreetballStrategiesWhich is why BG3800 is still an awesome ball.
Would recommend using this outdoor and indoor or would u recommend just using this ball indoor?
Both. But indoor might be better. Less dirt on the ball.
BG4000 / GF7X…4500…5000
with the same price, what should i get, Wilson Authentic Series Outdoor or the Molten BG3800
I don’t have any experience with the Authentic Series, but I do love Wilson.
I'v never win anything from giveaways in my whole life, but I think this ball is really amazing. ......pleas let me win
Have u hooped on blacktop with the ball
What is pebbiling
I have the molten d3500 outdoor I think it's best outdoor molten however I want to try this one. If you can get yours hands on the d3500 I would
I would like to try it.
Is this better than Spalding street phantom???
I prefer the Phantom, mainly because the cover on the Phantom has a more tacky feel.
@@StreetballStrategiesdoes the phantom pick up dirt more easily?
No more than any other rubber ball.

Unless there’s a problem with the bounce of the ball, I don’t usually pay attention to PSI.
It’s on the ball…depends on the weather, summer and winter
Whats the difference between bg 3800 to bg 4000?
I think the BG4000 Is for indoors, im not sure..
The only difference I can guess at is that the 4000 must have slightly better, more expensive material that it’s made out of. The ratio of leather to rubber must be higher in the 4000 than the 3800.
It's both good for indoors and outdoor but 3800 is better at outdoor seeing reviews i think 3800 i ganna last longer outdoors
@@santinobuduan327 ohh thats good, planing to buy one for outdoor. And also BG3800 is cheaper tha BG4000
@@janinecodilana947 yeah
I just bought this ball how does the grip feel after a few months of use?
The grip remained the same for me. But I only used it at a moderate frequency at most.

I am interested this ball and wondering who has used it for more than a few months outside. How has it held up for some months outside? 6-12 months?
I've been using it for 7 months so far. The orange panels are holding up great. The white ones are peeling off a little bit but no real issue.
@@alexharalambiev2873 thank you.

So dust makes it loose grip?
It can make it slippery.
BG4000 / GF7X GREAT FOR OUTDOOR...Molten BG3800 could be dusty for outdoor
3800 definitely gets dusty.
@@StreetballStrategies also tried BG3700, 4000, 5000…would you test more Molten?
I’m always open to testing more basketballs.
Is it comparible to a nba ball
Not really.

Southeastern Michigan.
Is the brand out of state

How does it compares to Wilson NCAA Replica . And how you really know if it is not a knock off ?
They’re similar but I prefer the feel of the Wilson better. A lot of verification has to do with how info is printed on the ball.
