They are beautifully designed and perfectly painted. Those renaissance artists know how to make them come to life. Do you see what I mean?

Well, we know that two of the three types of angels mentioned in the Bible have wings because the Bible says so, so it seems natural to think that the archangels may as well. I would think that is why all angels are assumed to have wings rather than their ability to move instantly.
Archs are titles not species so I'll drop archs have 4 to 6 wings and I'll let everybody else read text. The real real hierarchy is creatures, seraphim, cherubim ophanim or wheels then powers dominions etc. Arch is title and I already know who's who
