@@AlistairBrugsch What's up guys, this is ETA prime here. Today I'm going to review yet another product that was sent to me for free. This is the best product on the market that you can get today.... That's only because other people wouldn't send me their stuff for free so I won't say anything good about them.
Not bad looking. Clean, easy to install, and very compact. A great option for those that want more than a PS Classic and not needing to mod anything either makes it an easy choice. Yes, you can 3d print one but will you actually do it? More than likely no.
This is the best idea that anyone has ever made believe me I have the key to making a playstation classic thank for telling and for showing this it looks awesome.
I find it a bit odd that they didn't just copy the slim if they wanted to add a screen. Would've been really cool and unique to see a miniature of that.
Nice review, nice case. Right now its 30$ so a great deal. Would be nice if it had a place for a battery, especially if u have the screen already mounted on it. Super portable
It's by a company called PDP, bought it a couple years ago on amazon. Looks like it's unavailable now but the listing is still there if you search "PDP SNES classic case," you might be able to find it on ebay or something.
@@dmlavigne I just bought the case to try it myself and found the ports. I now use it watch 60s low res cartoons like flintstones and jetsons, didn't tried gaming yet
"waiting for code to compile" heh... You know the only acceptable activity while waiting for code to compile is to have play sword fights on office chairs... #apropriateXKCD
I've got a couple RetroPi cases. I was really surprised by the quality of the Genesis case, given the price, and that it was from (at the time) an unknown company.

I usually don't bother with review-type videos, but what do you guys think? More of these in between projects and tutorials? 🤔
not here in england yet but hopefully well be soon, as i want to get the case with screen look good, nice video.
The odd review here and there would be good, just don't turn into ETA and be "reviewing" every tiny product that gets sent to you... 😉

This review was really good! Excellent video!
Totally
This is great. I need this. Only thing it is missing is a battery! :D

I feel like they really missed an opportunity to make a mini "Psone" style case with the flip up screen
I find it a bit odd that they didn't just copy the slim if they wanted to add a screen. Would've been really cool and unique to see a miniature of that.
Woah super cool! And not to mention affordable, I was surprised by the price actually.
Yeah it's really not bad! I didn't want to mention it directly in the video though in case it changes.
I've already got about 400 games on my modded PlayStation Classic, but I still really want to put one of these together.

Thank you for doing a size comparison with the PS Classic.
Perfect Case Wonderful🥰
Whoa..whoa..whoa..... what is that case you use around the 4 minute mark?! I want it!!

Awesome! Thank you for the info!
Great. Video dude
Good review. Thanks!
Great video. This might have won me over.
Hey, still looking for mintypi parts, and idea when they will be back in stock?
I heard from helder a couple weeks ago that he may have some news on that front soon. 🙂
@@wermy cool, thanks 🙂
Looks pretty sweet!
Awesome. I've never heard of Mini HDMI.
And who wouldn't use the Safe Shut Down?
If you can’t (or are too lazy to) get the software setup, then it’s a nice fallback to have I guess. Options are good. :)
@@wermy Okay.
Hi, Can I use a raspberry pi 3 b+ on this?
No, the footprint and Full HDMI port on the pi 3 b+ will not work in this case.
Hello, Good Video ^^ What's the storage case you use? Please ^^
What kind of battery bank did you use to power this?
Any idea if a standard Pi4 USB-C power supply (5.1V 3A) will be enough to power the Pi and the screen?
Other videos says it will . I've also seen a video where they power it off of a 10000 MAH battery pack
awesome
So the USB3.0 ports get blocked inside the case?
No, there is an access port on the side you can remove to access the two unused USB 3.0 ports and the RJ-45 Ethernet port. Very nice review!!

Thats sweet man!
were you running dreamcast on recalbox? mine has slowdowns :(
Question.
Cant upscale PS1 games, can you ?
Like: forget about filters and other plugins that make it look great, right ?
WOW
how did you get full screen i cant for the life of me get full screen.....helllp ...please

"Are you playing retro games again?"
Wermy- "Compiling!"
"Oh. Carry on"
The screen is very small imo
put raspberry pi 4 in a mintypi
Warhamer 40k fan?
Yep! Don’t get to play nearly as often as id like though.
I love your videos and want to respectfully recommend a pop filter for your mic. 🙂
A wobbly mic stand was the culprit this time. :) I will get it sorted next time.
According to the company It's eight-bit-DOO... NOT dough
It's 8-bit-doh, it has the same cadence as Nintendo.
Oh man, I can’t believe I didn’t catch that. 😅 thanks!

@@wermy thanks so much! do you think think the pistation w/ lcd will also fit into the sega/nes mini case?
Link from where you got the travel case from?
Right in their market? You created their market lol
Wish i could buy the stickers from the lid to match the original console.
you literally have the coolest channel
What's the storage case you use?
First Comment!

@@wermy is it the K1V4? Where did you get those key caps from? I haven’t been able to find any other than their oem grey ones :(
