So far so good with my Munchie. She's 9, and both parents are 12. All are healthy. Baby and her parents (retired from breeding) have been fixed. Her breeder is still breeding the cats, at least she was a year ago. Unlike Dachshunds, the Munchies don't get back trouble due to the cat's more flexible skeleton. (Jan Griffiths).

I have a beautiful tiny cat that looks like a 5 month old kitten. She was a stray cat, and her behavior makes it clear that she had a rough life before we found her. I’m hoping to find a cat breed that looks similar to her. She’s probably a mix, but she’s definitely not an ordinary cat breed.
I have a dilute calico purebred Munchkin. She is 9 years old. She looks like a kitten still, and like any other Munchie except that she has long legs. Her dad was a longhaired Munchie with super short legs (called a rug hugger), and mom was a regular short legged Munchie. Her name is Baby and she can do anything that a normal cat can do because of her long legs. Her breeder gave her to me. I love her so much. (Jan Griffiths).
Back when I (61M) was a teen my Dad brought home 2 Siamese cats, a Brother/Sister bonded pair. The previous owners (a Military family) was moving overseas and could not take them. We had them in the family for a long time before they passed. They were very affectionate and sometimes very vocal. Dusty (the male) was named after Dustin Hoffman. I cannot remember who Kelly was named after.
There are so many wonderful loving cats at your local shelter that will know you saved them and they never let you forget how much they love you. Spending ridiculous amount s of money on kittens when you can give A homeless pet A loving home. Do you know how many cats you can spay and neuter with that kind of money? Saving homeless animals from their horrible street life is worth SO much more for Han A designer cat. Priorities?
My Munchie was given to me by her breeder. So sort of a rescue. The breeder loved her too, even though her legs are long. She received the same care that her show quality kittens received. Otherwise she is as cute as a short legged Munchie. (Jan Griffiths).
I have a 5yo pair of bonded Torties from different litters. One is a regular size and a bit chonky but not too much and the other is very small. The Vet said they are both perfectly healthy.
Ive got a grey tabby thats 3 years old now and shes still small like a kitten, very energetic, constantly wants to be the center of attention and vocal. She's not any of these breeds... not sure what to make of her small size.
It was cruel to create the Munchkin cat breed. They can never live in the wild, so if one is lost, it will die. They have no reach with their front paws to protect themselves. But they sure can jump onto kitchen counters.
Those "Siamese" cats in the video are not what a good Siamese should look like. They have long heads with flat profiles, bat like ears. slanted uncrossed sapphire blue eyes, long slender legs with dainty paws, a whip like tail, and tubular bodies. The cats in the video were colorpointed regular domestics, not Siamese at all. Next time, get videos of good representatives of the breed. (Jan Griffiths).
BREEDING FOR A GENETIC MUTATION THAT LOWERS THE QUALITY OF LIFE FOR ANY PET SHOULD BE OUTLAWED. Adopt a KITTEN from a shelter and let it grow into an adult. Or even better adopt a FULLY GROWN CAT. Don't fall into the bullspit about "munchkins" or ANY OTHER "BREED" MENTIONED HERE because THEY HAVE HEALTH ISSUES. Anyone who buys one should be denied any other pet for the rest of their lives. Just my opinion.
Don’t buy Munchkin cats they have multiple issues-don’t let this video fool you. This video has no idea what they are talking about. American curls are not small cats nor are Siamese cats.
A tie between Munchkin and Balinese..both are so cuuuuute 🐾😍😘🐾
I was saying the same thing. Munchkin and Balinese....Where can we purchase?
Do these cats have normal aging? Are they healthy? You failed to mention how much the Munchkin cat cost. The Napoleon one is beautiful too.
Good question. I'd like to know too

They ALL HAVE HEALTH PROBLEMS. EVERY LAST FAKE DESTRUCTIVE BREED MENTIONED HERE DOES.
@@douglasgriffiths3534munchkin cats still shouldn’t be continued to be bred ,whoever breeds them is sick.
I love cats the most

Me to
American Curl. I love the ears.
I prefer the Singapura. But will seriously consider a cat from an animal shelter because they need a home.

You're absolutely right! Adopting from a shelter can make a huge difference in a pet's life.

I appreciate your thoughts! Cute moments can sometimes leave us puzzled, but that's part of the fun!

Me too. My Sweet pea looks like a kitten. She is 6 years old. Grey tabby.
The AI narrator takeover is so extremely upsetting.

There's even a short legged Sphynx. It's called the Bambino, and is really cute. (Jan Griffiths).

That would be bad if I had a muchkin cause my cats jump from bed to bed (the beds are both lofts)
Oh, I can imagine the chaos! Cats are such acrobats, aren't they?

Where can I buy Munchkin kitty?? They are most beautiful 😍❤️❤️
Munchkin kitties are indeed adorable! You can check with local breeders or animal shelters to find one.
None of them actually look like kittens into their adult life
It's true, kittens do grow up fast!
