Hi Steve & Ally, another very informative episode. The NT has some very interesting war history and it’s great to see places like the Adelaide River War Cemetery and other places around the top end keeping that history alive. Thanks again for showing it to us.Safe travels.👍
Thank you we really loved the NT and we have so much more to see. We plan on doing a few months up there next year on our way into WA. We thought the Adelaide River War Cemetery was an absolute must do
We did the Siding Camps along the Stuart Highway last year. Learning the history of that time through stopping and reading all the accounts was incredible. We were really disappointed that you both did not wander through the old base at Gorie Airstrip. When we walked through we found parts of the old planes that were repaired.
Thank you we enjoyed our camps along the Stuart Highway. We’ve got plenty more to go next week. I’m sorry we missed the old base at Gorrie but we are returning next year on our way to WA so we’ll definitely be staying and checking it out
