Congratulations Cunard on such a beautiful ship. My wife and I were married back in 2007 and we spent our honeymoon onboard the original Queen Mary and we thoroughly enjoyed every second. For me, it was like stepping back in time. I always dreamed that I would get to go back to see some of the beautiful steamers from the turn of the century like the Lusitania, the Mauretania, the Olympic, the Majestic, the Coronia, and other turn of the century steamers that helped make Cunard what it is today.
Thanks for the memories. From 2years old to 62 years old we had a fantastic sail. With crew that really cared. So glad to have been part of if, even if we are not on the video, lol
I was on that Cruise liner on that very same day! New York to Southhampton, 7 day trip. from the 6th July to the 13th July. Absolutely amazing to be part of the 200th Transatlantic crossing.
Its cool that the Captain explains the facts here .i seen QM2 off Dublin port this year she was too deep to come into dublin port one day i will get to go on her
@@JulieWallis1963 Yes, I did, right before they destroyed deck 7 and removed most of the original art. I won't go back, but likely nobody else will either now.
I suspect that the real reason for the change of Registry is the 2010 British Equality Act which requires that wages of employees from all EU countries be paid wages equal to those from employees from the UK. By dropping the British flag, they avoid being under the British wage and labor laws.
I know what you mean. I thought any captain could perform a wedding at sea. Why didn't they change the rules to fit the registry instead? There is something missing in the photos with "Hamilton" on the stern and preservers. There is an authenticity that is lost. I never did get a photo of myself with the life preservers showing "Southampton." Now I never will. QE reminds me of a floating ironing board, and QV is only slightly less so. I spend my money for QM2.

If it’s not too much to ask can you guys please try to operate a high speed Atlantic crossing every once in a while? Like 3-4 days instead of a week?
Cunard liners are clearly the best. I'm going on the QM2 in December.....
Congratulations
Wish I had been with you.Never mind. I shall be back on QE on September 10th.
Would love to sail on this ship one day

Cunard you the best ships of the World
Does anybody know what the soundtrack in the background is called?
Now we need a Titanic II
Clive Palmer is trying to build one but he's a bit of a bullshit artist even though he's a billionaire.
TrainsGod and _who_ do you think would want to book to travel on Titanic 2? People are superstitious and you’re a bit dim! 😐🥴
Why does the back say Hamilton, not Southampton ?
Because she was registered there
Dang brief actually looks deeply inteuesvingform
I've never personally met the Queen but I know it goes to Brooklyn all the time.

ICEBERG RIGHT AHEAD!
Van Romondt 🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️
The history of Ocean liners began with Cunard and it ends with Cunard.
