Definitely an elite prospect, only issue I really see in his game is it seems like he gets caught up in going for the homerun a lot of times when it's just not there, resulting in sacks, throwaways or poor decisions when there are underneath options available. Everyone compares every other qb to mahomes these days, but Caleb is definitely the closest comp we've seen, with more athleticism than Patrick. The aforementioned issue was one of mahomes' biggest criticisms, eventually he learned to take checkdowns when he needed to and improved his decision making and now we have the best QB we've ever seen. Caleb definitely has top 5 nfl qb potential, excited to see how his career pans out.
See the same thing in every game with USC that he does in NFL!! Holds onto the ball way way too long!! Its why he has so many sacks!! 56 sacks so far. Sam Howell had 63 sacks last year n every analyst said it was Howell's fault!! Now that its Caleb its the OL. Its ranked middle of pack!!!! Bullshit!!!
It was with this game that USC's defense started to show itself as being truly pathetic and CW was probably wondering why he left Oklahoma at this point 😆
He looks like a future hall of famer for a few plays then he consistently misses open receivers downfield. Be interesting to see how much he can clean that up when goes to the NFL
Bear down baby welcome to Chicago 🐻⬇️

There's a difference between missing recievers because you can't see them and turning recievers down because you're looking for a bigger play (0:35)
