To the point where he can fight and cook just like he used to before he went blind.
The man has been living out his vision for the past ten years.

It's hard to take this scene seriously with Noct in his little assassins creed outfit.

But in all seriousness, this game left me in a rabbit hole of depression. I mean I beat it, then was left feeling like the only guy that thought the entire game was released way to early( who the fuck releases a kingdom Hearts style "limit break" system and doesn't include even 2 combos?). Only to find out that they released a "royal"(complete) edition. With everything that should have been in first game, all the shit from the season pass, and comrades all for the price of the "peasant edition" as a special Fuck You to the original buyers.

Well, he is the easiest to summon. To this day, I’ve only summon Leviathan once; and that was made possible because the fight allow an easy summon of him since it was near the a body of water.

I think the reason why bahamut didnt use it with ifrit because ifrit could dolpe it. His multi swords couldnt even hit ifrit once so i think ifrit could dolpe this.

Bahamut: Finally breaks barrier
I didn't understand why Leviathan needed to do that. I think if would have been better if she came first with and engulfed the barrier in water and then Shiva comes in to freeze it.

So tired of hearing this goddamn excuse, you shouldn't temper your expectations because of development issues, especially when the company still has the audacity to charge full price for it.
We the consumer shouldn't have to pay for a company's stupid decisions, no one told them to make a deadline they couldn't keep to please investors or whoever else was barking at them, as consumers that simply isn't our problem.
And on another note there's no reason this shouldn't be released for free, it's not like square haven't done it already, if they can create something as shitty as the assassins creed and chocobo festival for free then they can sure as hell shell out a few free cutscenes.
These guys have been promising free cutscenes to expand the story for over a year now, so where are the fucking cutscenes you promised us???
So far all we got was 2 minutes of shitty cutscenes explaining ravus's story which is still unclear and a fucking sideshow vaguely showing the back story of the Astrals.
And you know exactly why square Enix did that, to squeeze more cash out of us, they know there's no point in charging money for an assassins creed festival because no one would buy it, but make a few cutscenes and slap the word "bonus content" on it and charge a fee, and idiot fan boys like you who continue to defend this bullshit will pay for it and that's where real fans of the series who want integrity from our games suffer.
It's because of cancers like you in the gaming community as to why we have half baked incomplete games full to the brim with loot boxes and microtransactions.

They produced a product and put company time and resources into it so they need to pay their employees for their work and they need to invest back into the company for future endeavors. Your feelings don't mean shit in the business world and hold especially little weight since they're already always giving the players free tokens of gratitude for playing like that gigantic Comrades patch that dropped today with a fuck ton of free quests and customization options. Just because you waited 10 years doesn't mean the devs should start working for free and go hungry while driving the company into bankruptcy so you can still bitch how "this should've all been in the game at release" like you and your kind already do with most of the free content no matter the quality. Not at all. It was worth the money. People on the internet just like to act entitled and have no self control (if they really hated it, they wouldn't have bought it and moved on, not look up a video or click the recommended video about the game).

You don't buy another full price. You buy the Royal Pack for fifteen dollars. I know, I bought the game on release AND bought the season pass. In general, this is basically standard for Square ever since in FFVII when Japan had to buy another copy in order to fight Ruby and Emerald WEAPON and even moreso since Nomura started releasing some heavy Final Mix versions of Kingdom Hearts. The only difference is that instead of forcing all of us to buy the Royal Edition, we get a much cheaper DLC pack.
You can't possibly be justifying main story elements being behind a paywall. Think about DLCs that people love ala witcher 3 and Skyrim. None had any bearing on the main story.

Except it doesn't at all. Ardyn wants to kill Noctis at his peak, and he ALWAYS wants to mess with him. So in this scene Ardyn errects a wall that is the same type of wall that Regis had around the city. This reminds Noctis of his father. Then in order to pass the barrier he summons all the Astrals besides Ifrit who is under Ardyn's control (or the Starscourge control more accurately). This proves he has the favor of every god that Ardyn wants to proverbially spit in the face of. It makes enough sense if you look at it from the perspective the story tells you.
Saying him making a wall to stop you is counter to his plans is as silly as saying that summoning Ifrit to fight you is counter to his plans. He's making a statement, and I think it fits in really well. After all, who would be questioning this if it was in the base game? Very few people most likely.

Miiks Seriously I don't get why everyone is spouting this same nonsense. Like the other commenter said the wall was erected to taunt Noctis since it's the same wall Noctis's dad gave his life to protect. Hell Ardyn TELLS you why he's erecting the wall in the scene he does it. It's not only spitting in Noctis' face but in Regis' face and memory as well. Ardyn wants to kill Noctis but he also wants to make a show out of it. Otherwise he would've slaughtered all 4 Bros in their sleep when they literally bunked beds with the dude before the trial of Titan. Ardyn knows Noctis has the favor of the remaining 5 Astrals so he'll get through the wall and he knows it'll kill him inside just a bit more to bring down the very thing his father gave his life for. Even with the Kings of Yore he says "Oh how I love watching the ones I hate tear each other apart." He's basically making Noctis tear down everything related to the Line of Lucis with his own hands as a form of twisted self fulfillment. To him there's no greater joy than the fact that the Chosen King is destroying his own family's legacy just to reach Ardyn which will ultimately end in him killing himself as well. People need to think a bit more. lol

The lines was cringe and repetitive especially prompto when he doesn’t stop whistling so much but other than that some lines was great and the story was good
Because it never delivered upon anything we were promised during its development. People dunk on 13 being linear while XV was linear AND unfinished that we needed DLC to fill in massive plot holes that were crucial to the story.
Now THAT was a FF-scene as we know it.

@@armerjosephbautista2197 to be fair they changed why Ifrit was fighting. Originally Ifrit hated humans and was working by will. They changed it so that ardyn corrupted him with his gross ooze shit and made him star scourge Ifrit instead of Ifrit. It was against his will in Royal Edition

Love this game! It's fair to say that FFXV was incomplete but I knew the hidden potential was there somewhere. Can't wait until I play the full experience of the game again. After 2019 please stop though. I'm happy to play my third favourite final fantasy all again.

All this just to reach a building? This rewrite put too much overkill in a single spot... I would've preferred if the Summons had been more epic, in their own way. But I guess no Summon will ever reach FFX-level story integration anytime soon.

He just wants to annoy him by making him actually work for it and besides if anything all that effort from the summons just shows how strong Ardyn actually is and why Noctis is the only one that can bring him down.
BLOODY__FATALITY Rikoh ZX Do you even know what that wall is? Before this, there is a scene where Ardyn create this wall in order to torture Noct, as always. He does It as a reminder of the sacrifice that Regis was doing by keeping the wall and that was killing him slowly, so Ardyn knows it and use It to torture Noctis and annoy him. So it does make sense.
Fight with Ifrit is after this, right? If I were him, I would say ".... Fuck this!" and just scamper off into a cave or something. xD

She is dead. What you see at the ending is the afterlife. Pretty lame for me, cuz in a way is a leap of faith because that could be only in our heads, not really happening in our mortal realm. UwU

bakkahentai2600 the bros died also. When Noctis died inside the building, they lost their power and killed by the daemons outside. Without the power from Noctis, they are just regular humans, easily slaughtered by the daemons.

see this is what I hate they should've just waited to release the game. it's complete bs that I had to wait for god knows how many years for this game to come out but I wasn't waiting for an incomplete game. it's just infuriating because had this been in the original disc I would've enjoyed the game a lot more.

When she wraps around it you can see the hexagon shapes form around rather than the smooth shield it was before.
