what is the model of the jacket revit in this video?

Im so glad that rev’it stopped rolling over for Gore & co and started using other membranes which makes the prices much lower. After the EU ban on PFAS the magic of Gore tex is pretty much gone.

Thanks for the review Andrew. Is there a jack to match these pants? I'm looking for something light, waterproof and maybe breathable to go over a knox urbane pro mesh jacket.

yeah this same dirt series has a light, waterproof jacket with awesome ventilation. Comes in zip up or anorak version (in some countries).

As @d.Cog420 mentioned, there is an accompanying top of the same name from the Dirt series. Annoyingly, these are being added to our site next week and aren't live yet. If you browse them on the Rev'it site you can call us or email us and we can order for you. Also worth considering is the Blackwater:

Great presentation. By the way, the gator should be inside the boot, not outside. You will be sure no water going in. That's what skier and snowboard do.

The gaiter goes over the boot for the reasons explained in the vid, thanks! - Andrew

    When you’re 6’9 (209cm) /150kg it’s hard to find fitting Adventure gear! 😫

I can imagine! Rev'it and Scott both do long legged versions of most of their trousers and Scott in particular go up to something like a 5XL in most jackets. If you get in touch with us directly we can arrange a special order - Andrew

Damn, I’d love to be in a position where $400 riding pants are "reasonable"…

Decent AA CE approved ADV rousers span from £250 - £860. These aren't 'cheap' but I don't think the price is unreasonable vs what is out there.

    2 questions
Can you take them on and off over your boots?
Can you lend me £380.00 😂

I do not understand why Revi't is so popular to be honest. I do not want to praise any other brand, but out of 4 items I purchased from REVI'T, I find all 4 of them falling behind other brands. Gloves are not comfortable, shoes are stiff and plasticky, jackets are HEAVY! comparing to other brands like e.g Held, Dainese or Rukka or even much less popular Rebelhorn. Is it because their marketing strategy is to pay UA-camrs or give them stuff for free to advertise?

Interesting! I’ve been using Revit gear for years. Have had a high-speed crash in it and suffered no damage. I have these trousers too and they are great! Have bought some Klim gear lately and that has some nice features but there are also areas where my Revit gear is better.

@@theflyingkiwi4803 Well then I think it speaks for itself if there was no damage after a crush. Thank you for your comment, this is reassuring. I found all their stuff to be less comfortable basically, and jackets to be 25% heavier than others. To mention, comparing to the same safety rated gear from others.

@@nkwd007 let me clarify - the kit is was wearing was wrecked but it did its job - there was no damage to ME! Ride safe!👍

Don't get me wrong I've had my own ups and downs with Rev'it over the years. I've also had issues with the fit of some of their gloves in the past. One thing to remember is this is a massive brand that does countless new garments in every division of motorcycling every year. As such, when we are presented with the range, it's often the case that 8 out of 10 of their items don't quite hit the mark for whatever reason. But, when they get it right, they are capable of producing some of the best gear out there, such as these trousers. Not only that but they also go down routes that no one else does to find solutions that customers are asking for but no one is addressing and that is to be commended. It just so happens that several of my stand out items from 2023 /4 are from Rev'it. And FWIW I'm the last person to be swayed because of UA-camr marketing! The items I've showcased recently are from my own personal collection. Hope that helps give some context - Andrew
