Is the Heisei movies the first or the second era of Gamera movies? I only have one Godzilla movie in my posession (Godzilla Vs Biolante), but I'm hoping to change that soon.
DreamDragoness25 It's the second. you can buy the trilogy for cheap from what I've seen. It consists of: Gamera Guardian of the Universe (1995) Gamera 2: Attack of Legion (1996) Gamera 3: Revenge (Awakening) of Iris (1999)
DreamDragoness25 The 90s trilogy is on blu ray on Amazon for only 10 bucks. Just checked. lol As for either kaiju films, I'd recommend the Daimajin series since few people have seen them. Almost anything Honda makes is gold, so if you haven't seen Rodan's solo flick from 1956 I would definitely check it out.

I could only find one article regarding it, so the information is scarce, but, supposedly, its cancellation would have been related to Gamera: The Brave being a box office failure. I would take it with a grain of salt, though, because, like I already said, we have very little information about the topic.

被害の大きさが違うからね。一方は大都市を壊滅出来ない被害を与えた怪獣、一方は小さな町と自衛隊の一個小隊を壊滅させた怪獣ではどちらが脅威かは明確です。

Well a lot of things are more epic then the Godzilla anime trilogy, it wasn't that epic at all. That said heisei gamera was great!

The entire trilogy has a fantastic soundtrack, but out of all three movies, Revenge of Iris goes the hardest
