You need to do some research on what type of skim board you need, to do the type of skimboarding you want to do. Plus you need to get the right size for your weight. But I hate to break it to you but one that goes out into the waves is not going to be less than 100 bucks.
@@CjKirwan also that skimboard is not meant for going OUT against waves, it is for going on the shore line after a good enough wave crashes, so you are doing it correctly but wrong direction
