I just had a thought. So it is possible to enter Lakebed without the Zora armor by just refilling your air on the more elevated underwater portions of the lake and slowly descending down. Couldn’t you do the same thing and skip needing to do the Oocco dive? I’m pretty sure it wouldn’t even save time but is it possible or is there something different about Twilight Lake Hylia which prevents it from working? Something else I’m noticing further into the run, but I think there might have been a faster route for collecting the hidden skills (please correct me if I’m wrong). So you got the B and C, then rode Epona up north to castle town then went to the Lake. But after finishing Lakebed, you’re dropped off at North Hyrule field. So couldn’t you have walked to Castle Town, gotten both wolves then later on just take the graveyard underwater path back to the Lake after Bulbin 3? Finally, on your first trip into the desert, couldn’t you have stopped by CiTS, collected Oocco, then warped back to CiTS after finishing AG?
For your first point, yes, it is possible to enter lakebed with high water by refilling air on the way down. The problem ends up being that we don't have a way to get water bombs at that point in the run to refill air with. The second point might be a faster route. I'll look into it. The wolf south of Castle Town doesn't appear until after MDH, but maybe WMG would make it appear (doubtful). Ooccoo in City in the Sky works differently than other dungeons. It's possible that it could work, but I'm not sure you'd be able to leave without Ooccoo's note. Beating (or skipping) Stallord gets rid of any Ooccoo you might have, so at best we'd use that after Death Sword.
Why don’t you finish AG before CITS so you have the Warp portal or use Oocoo to skip the second pick up slide? Maybe im missing some pieces of the puzzle
Oh, I wish we could. Getting the warp portal wouldn't help us much, because warping requires us to transform. Ooccoo's not a bad idea, but Ooccoo disappears if we leave Stallord's arena, either by beating it or skipping it.
@@anorakkisSo if Oocco disappears after leaving Stallord, why does that matter in this run? You left AG after getting spinner, so can’t you get Spinner, then just Oocco away? Since you don’t finish AG on that trip, the Stallord erasing Ooccoo thing shouldn’t matter, right?
Time to watch ! Congrats for the run
Wait, so _all_ of the transforms are before _all_ of the pickup slides? Neat.
Love this!!!
Audio breaks at 5:07:05 until the end of the video
Oh, so it does. I can't fix it for a while, but you could watch the end of the run with the VOD, the link is in the description.
@@anorakkis Yep, I already did! Just wanted to let you know
Use Ending Blow on Talo to get forest temple skip
what if you did a speedrun trying to be link as little as possible
