The letters in your names(Tia and Andy) can all be rearranged as part of an anagram to make up "Vacation Days"= vAcaTIoN DAYs. Just some food for thought for a possible title intro. Liking your vids a lot :)
It's _very_ exciting. Even at home, we've been trying to run everything off of our solar power by charging everything with the Bluetti (the giant power station)... It's actually having an impact for our power bill!
4TH comment!!! Man... I've always been intimated by this kinda work, but you guys make it look pretty easy.. I might just jump into getting some solar panels later this summer now.
It's our first time too! But we've done a few of these projects before. Our projects tend to be successful because we're minimalists at heart. And in situations where we are unsure, well research and rely on the experience of others!
We're running into a problem... Our solution is pretty custom so we're having a hard time finding commercial products that fit our roof! We've been looking for a bike rack solution but have come up empty.
Solar inverter size? How many watts are you expecting in Ontario, average day? Size battery and is it a deep cycle? So many questions. Thank you for letting us follow your journey.
YES KIRK! Ok. So we weren't sure if we should make a video specifically on the solar set up but since you've asked, we'll make this happen! But to teaser you, we have a 300w inverter. Solar hours in our part of the world is one of the lowest at around 2.2. Our battery is NOT deep cycle but it's 200ah. In our solar video, we'll go through exactly why we did what we did!
It’s coming along nicely! Getting closer and closer to the end.
Thanks! Yea, it crazy how the smaller things take just as long as the bigger parts.
Awesome job guys! You’re getting closer and closer to having that thing done and ready to hit the road!
Thank you!! So excited to get on the road with it.
This looks like so much work but you make it look so easy!

Very informative and cool

Stay safe
will do!
Love that this is all working out. Solar panels are finally in. Good job guys!
Thanks, guys! the solar is sooo nice!
The solar panel is bigger than I was expecting it to be. How exciting to get the power source up and running!

@@TiaandAndy that is AWESOME! I didn't know it was so versatile, how cool.
We did a bunch of research and settled on this set up specifically for the versatility. It's worked out really well so far!
@@TiaandAndy that is so awesome!
Nice work! It's coming along nicely!
Thanks, Jamie!
Fantastic 👏 Nice journey
Thank you!
Cool.. watching this every step of the way!

A roof rack looks like a good idea. We're tossing up whether to do this or not.

@@TiaandAndy We just use a bike rack with fits onto our tow ball.

@@TiaandAndy thank you both very much! Sincerely, an old and not so bold retired Chief Electronics Technician - Submarines.
Woah! That's pretty cool!
