Self-compassion is a way of caring for ourselves and attending to our suffering with kindness. While it can be strengthened with practice, self-compassion can be difficult to cultivate when we've internalized the stigma experienced from others. In this experiential writing workshop, find your inner self-compassion and help heal the wounds caused by stigmatized views of Borderline Personality Disorder. You'll be guided through writing prompts informed by Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) skills, including mindfulness, validation and compassion, to promote resilience and buffer the impact of stigma.
