With most Links golf courses being in the British Isles it's not often you get the chance to play a Links golf course in warm sunshine. With warm air, a breeze or a wind off the Mediterranean Sea this is the perfect challenge, especially when playing in shorts and a short sleeved polo shirt.
Designed by Pete Dye, Lykia Links is a massive course stretching to over 7,600 yards off the Championship tees. However the yellow tees at just over 6,500 yards makes it an enjoyable yet challenging experience for the amateur golfer.
Learn and play with the wind and create new shots. It's not always best to fly the ball. Keep it low for maximum penetration. Or play a short bumps and run on to the green
